Key’s teaser photo for “Dazzling Girl”

SHINee has revealed Key‘s teaser photo for their upcoming Japanese single, “Dazzling Girl“!

“Dazzling Girl” is described as an electro-pop number with a polished beat and refreshing melody. It represents the start of a romance with a dazzling woman and the emotional intensity one feels when in love.

The single was produced by Jeff Miyahara, and mixed by Miles Walker. Tom Coyne (Sterling Sound) also participated with the mastering of the single.

The dance was choreographed s**t kingz, while the hair, makeup, and outfits for the PVs and jacket covers were done by KEITA MARUYAMA, Tomizawa Noboru, and Watanabe Yuki.

“Dazzling Girl” is slated for release on October 10th.

MBLAQ’s G.O. to return to ‘Immortal Song 2′

After nearly a year since leaving ‘Immortal Song 2‘, MBLAQ‘s G.O. has decided to return to the music program as a permanent member.

On August 20th, a representative of KBS informed Star News, “G.O. will be returning to ‘Immortal Song 2′. As this is his return to the program after quite a while, we look forward to his more matured stage performance.”

“The singer will be participating in his first recording on the 20th and will replace Ulala Session, who will be making their final performance for the program on the same day.”

G.O. had previously joined ‘Immortal Song 2′ in June of last year, but unfortunately exited the program on September 10th. He later made a special guest appearance on the ‘Immortal Song 2 - Song Chang Shik Special‘ in February 2012.

In addition to G.O., 4men‘s Shin Yong Jae will also be performing for the first time after temporarily leaving the program on February 25th.

Seo In Guk talks about the joys of acting with ’1st Look’

Singer and actor Seo In Guk recently sat down for a heartfelt interview on his newly launched acting career with ‘1st Look‘ magazine.

The singer is currently starring in tvN‘s drama, ‘Reply 1997‘, and has been earning a positive response for his role as ‘Yoon Yoon Jae’. Seo In Guk stated, “I feel great. Through acting, I’m starting to realize what being happy truly means.”

When asked about his dialect, which has also been earning attention among fans, he stated, “In the past, Yoon Yoon Jae used a country dialect but switches over to Seoul speech once he crosses over to the current time. I think that makes me pay attention to my speech more since I have to make sure that I don’t use a dialect when acting in the current time.”

He continued, “The focus of my acting for my character is to show a natural lifestyle. I’m not aiming to show cool or amazing acting, but the image of someone that people can easily find anywhere around them, just like my co-star senior, Sung Dong Il.”

On working with A Pink‘s Eunji, he finally expressed, “The chemistry between the characters is really important, so I tried from the start to get close with her since I think that you have to be comfortable with the person you’re working with for your acting to seem natural. To get close with her and not just act like it, I’d play jokes on her off set and spend a lot of time with her. She’s now like my friend and dongseng.”

A single-file line snaked back and forth just inside Prudential Center in New Jersey, jamming the will call room with predominately Asian but hard-to-typecast fans, some in their twenties coming straight from the office, some in bedazzled surgical masks and holding cardboard cutouts. Behind me in line, a teenager asked his impatient mother if she remembered to buy kitty litter. When the doors to the venue opened 90 minutes late, a security guard inundated with nervous questions told everyone, “This is on 2NE1. We have concerts here all the time and it’s never this late… Never! Ever! We’re just like you: mystified.”

Psy heats up Dodger Stadium with surprise performance of “Gangnam Style”

Psy‘s “Gangnam Style” phenomenon has hit Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California. The artist previously posted on Twitter hinting at his possible appearance at the baseball game.

On the 20th PST, Psy did indeed attend the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. San Francisco Giants baseball game with his acquaintances. After the end of the 5th inning, “Gangnam Style” was played across the stadium after which Psy jumped up to perform his signature “horse riding” dance in front of 43,000 people who cheered him on.

Psy becomes first Korean artist to seize #1 position on US iTunes MV Chart

Psy has officially made history, as he is now the first Korean artist to rank at the #1 spot on the US iTunes‘ MV Chart!

On August 21st, Psy’s “Gangnam Style” MV ranked at the prestigious #1 position on the MV Chart of US iTunes, just three days after seizing the #2 spot on August 18th. What was more noteworthy was that Psy had even triumphed international pop star Justin Bieber, along with Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Nicki Minaj, and more.

The “Gangnam Style” fever seems to still be burning strong across the globe, and this was particularly evident at a recent Dodgers game where Psy was present.

NEWARK — They waited patiently, several thousand of them, outside the Prudential Center here on Friday night. They were mostly young, a combination of futuristic cool and slightly awkward. The more extravagantly attired were beyond mere extravagance: shiny clothes in bold contrasting prints, hair dyed in colors known to no rainbow.

They were K-pop fans, here for the first American performance of 2NE1, the K-pop — that’s Korean pop — stars. And they were being made to wait, unhappily, for unspecified reasons well past the time that doors were supposed to open, then also past the time that 2NE1 (pronounced “twenty-one” or “to anyone”) had been meant to take the stage. There was at least one report of fangirl tears on the street before the arena’s doors finally relented, and the crowd clogging the sidewalks was slowly herded to seats, just dodging the rain that would have compromised those outfits.

The members of 2NE1 awaited them, taking the stage in track jackets with their names — CL, Dara, Minzy, Bom — spray-painted on the back and, for some of the band, their own faces airbrushed onto the front. (The clothes for the tour were by the fantasist designer Jeremy Scott.)

T-ara's Eunjung walks away from her role in SBS "Five Fingers"

T-ara's Eunjung (25) will leave the production of SBS weekend drama "Five Fingers".

Eunjung was cast as the role of Hong Dami who loves to play piano in Five Fingers. According to production staff, in an emergency meeting held on the night of the 21st, it was decided Eunjung would give up her role.

In a phone call from OBS with a "Five Fingers" official, they said, "Yesterday Eunjung and the other actors did a screenplay reading in the morning. During that time, the production crew held an emergency meeting about Eunjung. Eunjung's appearance in the drama could possibly be a big burden."

Following, "The other actors feel sympathetic towards Eunjung and it will be difficult to replace Eunjung's position. Whoever is yet the new cast member we hope that it will bring the drama in a good direction."

It was recently also announced Eunjung will leave her role in MBC "We Got Married" but this was in discussions since July according to MBC staff. It was evidently postponed because of the labor union strike with MBC.
