IU, Sunny Hill, Zia, Ga-In, and upcoming girl group FIESTA, have come together under ‘Loen Tree‘ to produce a summer project album!
Loen Entertainment will be revealing Loen Tree’s first title track off their summer album, appropriately titled ‘Summer Story‘, on July 26th.
This project album will feature not only the established talented artists under the agency, but also their new girl group, FIESTA, and produced by G.Gorilla, Lee Min Soo, and Ra.D.
After revealing the first title track on the 26th, Loen Tree will then release the second title track as well as the rest of the album on August 2nd.
Loen Tree is a new label under Loen Entertainment’s artist management as well as a creative brand that will help show the public the musical activities of Loen artists. With this summer album as a start, the artists under the agency will kick off various activities through the Loen Tree brand.

Super Junior‘s Leeteuk was close to becoming ‘Kang Soo‘, as it is close to his birth name, Park Jungsoo. Fellow member Shindong almost became ‘Udon’, while Kangin could have been ‘Woongdam (gallbladder of a bear…)’, and Kyuhyun ‘Gwee-Hyun (distinguished person)’.
TVXQ was considered to be named ‘Oh Jak Yook Boo (Internal Organs)’, while Big Bang almost was named ‘Diamond’. T.O.P was originally going to be named ‘Mark’, Daesung ‘Big Castle’, Seungri ‘Sonic’, and Taeyang ‘Taekwon’.
Wonder Girls were almost named ‘LC (Ladies Club)’- Sunye was going to be ‘Sunny’, Sohee ‘IC’, Yenny ‘Silver’, Sunmi ‘Berry’, and now 4minute member HyunA who used to promote with Wonder Girls was going to be ‘Mint’. The girls even had a song they recorded under these names, but the name of a popular documentary they filmed before their debut was titled ‘Wonder Girls’, and they went with that name.
Shinhwa member Jun Jin was going to be ‘Lee Gi Go (which translates to ‘Winning’ in Korean)’, and Minwoo was going to be either ‘Parang (Blue)’ or ‘Taeyang’.

EXID to comeback in August

Adjustments to the member line-up of EXID have been finalized, and the girl group will be making a comeback in August.
EXID’s agency AB Entertainment revealed on the 16th: “There are plans for EXID to make a comeback around mid-August.” The original six-member group debuted with “Whoz That Girl” this past February, which attracted lots of attention as it was produced by hitmaker S.Tiger.
EXID lost Yuji, Dami, and Haeryung back in April, but two new members will be added to the group before their comeback, making EXID a five-member group. The girls were initially supposed to return to the music scene last month, but they pushed their comeback to August due to internal issues.
AB Entertainment stated, “EXID is currently in the midst of promotions. They’ll be making their comeback in mid-August with two new members.”

New girl group ‘Goddess‘ has revealed that they’ll be debuting with a “gangster” concept.
Scheduled for debut early next month with ‘Farewell Party‘, the girls will be going for what they refer to as “gangster image” to set them apart from the other girl groups on the market. The street fashion style they’re sporting is comprised of leather pieces and Spanish made biker boots, complete with smokey make-up and various piercings.
Their company stated, “Since their main concept is ‘gangster’, their fashion followed suit. Not only their fashion, but their choreography will also be as powerful as the routines performed by male groups.”

Today, you firstly suggested doing the shooting with a snake. Did you think the snake would look cool for the concept?
Even if it wasn't for the concept, since I've always liked snakes, I firstly said that I wanted to record the 'Volume Up' music video with a snake. The truth is that I wanted to raise one in the dorms but the members said I couldn't so I didn't. They also said that I'd have to feed it mice I'd kept in the freezer. Or take care of hamsters and throw them in each time.

Group B1A4’s member Gongchan received a kidney removal surgery today. (23rd)
According to Gongchan’s doctor “Gongchan’s diagnoses was an apriority narrowing of his kidney pelvis ureter in which one side of his kidney was not able to function and therefore received surgery.”
B1A4’s company WM Entertainment claimed “Gongchan was experiencing pains on his side during Baby Good Night promotions and was diagnosed with kidney problems when consulting with the doctor. However, his strong will to undergo surgery once the Baby Good Night promotions were over delayed his surgery. Whenever Gongchan would experience pains he would take pain killers and go on with his promotions with bright looks, making it unaware to fellow B1A4 members and fans. He also didn’t want the fans to worry so asked to keep information of the surgery quiet.”
Currently, Gongchan’s surgery has gone successfully and is recovering in the hospital. He will be hospitalized for a week.
Once he is out of the hospital there should be no problems with everyday life but will need to avoid promotions for the time being.
On the other hand, B1A4 finished their album promotions and will star in KBS JOY’s “B1A4’s Hello Baby” set to air on July 25th and hopes to show a different side to them.

Dream Tea Entertainment, the home of Girl’s Day, has announced that they’ll be debuting a talented new female duo!
On July 23rd, Girl’s Day wrote on their Twitter, “A new rookie group will finally be debuting under our company. Please give lots and lots of love to our talented female duo Jevice.”
Their name is a combination of ‘jewelry’ and ‘voice’ and is comprised of members Jiae (25) and Juri (24). Both are known for their equally beautiful looks and talents.
Representatives further revealed, “We hope that the debut of our female duo Jevice becomes a positive thing for the Korean music industry. We will support them so that they can grow to follow the foot steps of senior duos like Davichi and As One.”
Netizens commented, “Really looking forward to the first female duo debut in a while”, and “Finally a rookie from Girl’s Day’s company!”
The girls will be making their official debut on July 27th.

On July 22nd, 2NE1‘s Dara shared a photo of Minzy backstage during their rehearsal for their upcoming concert.
Through her me2day, she wrote, “Although she shows us passionate dancing on stage, our Mingki has a feminine side to her where she folds origami stars during her breaks. 2PM‘s Nichkhun has been allegedly caught driving under the influence of alcohol.
On July 24th at 3:30AM, Nichkhun was involved in a car accident while driving in Gangnam. The singer was allegedly under the influence of alcohol when he rear-ended a motorcycle.
His blood alcohol level was measured at 0.056%, a percentage where he will be subjected to his license becoming suspended.
An official from Gangnam’s police station informed Dispatch over the telephone July 24th, “After measuring his alcohol content at the site [of the incident], it was concluded that Nichkhun was not severely intoxicated. Immediately after the accident, Nichkhun and the victim were investigated by the police.”
No one was injured at the scene, and there was no serious damage to either vehicle. The police station official continued, “It was a small accident and neither Nichkhun nor the victim were injured. Both vehicles were insured, and Nichkhun has taken measures to safely return home following his investigation.”

Rookie group ChAOS will be making a comeback with their first mini album on July 27th and the first teaser photo released was none other than that of leader, Park Taeyang.
The photo reveals a new strong image different from their debut. He gives off the charisma of a real man with a rugged look, presenting a complete transformation. Netizens are surprised at this new look, with reactions such as: “such a transformation!”, “What will the song sound like?”, “he looks like a real man!”, “A comeback is finally approaching!”.

DBSK's Yunho is set to perform with BoA during the couple dance previously featured in the dance version music video of 'Only One', this upcoming Saturday on BoA's comeback special, 'BoA4354' on SBS. Not much information is known about the group and they made an appearance on “Running Man” last month.
Earlier today, a vague video trailer titled “It’s New” was uploaded on Woollim Entertainment’s official YouTube channel and many are speculating that it’s alluding to the new girl group. Others speculate that it could be the return of INFINITE.
It concludes with the Revolution of 201208 (August 2012), it seems the new girl group could be debuting soon or INFINITE could be coming back soon.

Drawing inspiration from their Global Tour “New Evolution“, each member of 2NE1 directed their own looks for the shoot.
