[OSEN=Hwang Mihyun reporter] MYNAME, the group that was a topic for being the trained by Hwanhee, exposes their image.

Known as ‘Hwanhee Boys’, this 5-member group which consists of leader Gunwoo, Seyong, Insoo, JunQ and Chaejin lived in the netizens’ curiosity. You can even call them a rainbow-like group which is not subjected to any individuals.

We recently met MYNAME who are overflowing with ambition and full of desire. After preparing for 2 years, these guys will take their first step into the music industry with their single album ‘Message’. How do these guys, who will shake the music industry, feel?
“We still don’t feel it. Even now, we’re practicing from afternoon till the next morning. I think the feeling will come when we stand on our first stage. We think that we have to do well, so we spend our time practicing no matter what. Our song ‘Message’ is a very strong song with no space for rest. There will also be b-boying in our choreography, so it is a dynamic performance. We hope the fans will like it.” (Gunwoo)

MYNAME has worked hard on their debut song ‘Message’. They don’t fall behind in every single step and even their expressions. They sincerely introduced their song, saying that ‘Message’ is a song that relates to guys.
“It’s a situation everyone has gone through before. Guys can relate to this song better. It’s about not receiving a reply after sending a text message to the girl you like. It’s a song that expresses the anxiousness in that situation. You can even say it’s a song that everyone can sing and follow along. I liked the structure of the song.”(JunQ)

What is Hwanhee like to MYNAME? It’s well-known that Hwanhee produces for MYNAME. We are curious as to how Hwanhee conducted training with the members.
“He gave us training. From dancing to humanity lessons, we got them all from Hwanhee Hyung. We all call him Hwanhee Hyung. He really takes good care of us. He suddenly came to our dorm bringing snacks, and told us interesting stories and even gave us advice. When that happens, we feel like we should repay him with good performances. There is a famous advice that Hwanhee Hyung gave us. With his tenor voice, he coolly told us, ‘Remember the difference between confidence and arrogance. Don’t become arrogant.’ He might be a hyung like that to us, but he is also like a teacher.” (Seyong)

Upcoming hip-hop group M.I.B successfully ended their 1st album showcase on October 20th in Songpa-gu at the Seoul Olympic Hall's Muse Live Hall. M.I.B (Most Incredible Busters) consists of 5Zic, Cream, SIMS, and KangNam. The group was formed under Jungle Entertainment, the home of Tiger JK, Yoon Mirae, and Leessang, the nation's best hip-hop entertainment label.

During the showcase, the group performed songs from their upcoming 1st album, "Most Incredible Busters," which is set for release on October 25th. In addition, each member performed their solo songs, which were released after the announcement of their debut (5Zic "Beautiful Day," Cream "Do U Like Me," SIMS "Hands Up," and KangNam "Say My Name").

U.S. soldier confesses during trial to rape of S. Korean girl

A 2nd Infantry Division soldier confessed to brutally raping and burning a 17-year-old South Korean girl last month, during the opening day of his trial Friday in Uijeongbu District Court.

Pvt. Kevin Lee Flippin, 21, of the 6th Battalion, 37th Field Artillery Regiment, admitted to a charge of robbery and rape, and another charge of aggravated rape for his actions at a dormitory-style apartment and hotel building near Camp Casey on Sept. 24.

Prosecutors recommended that Flippin receive 15 years in prison when the verdict and sentence are delivered, which is scheduled for Nov. 1.

Flippin’s case, along with the case of a Yongsan Garrison soldier accused of rape last month, have resulted in protests and led government officials to investigate whether to negotiate with the United States for greater powers in detaining and investigating servicemembers suspected of crimes.

Flippin took a deep breath, bowed his head and struggled to utter his first words to chief judge Pak In-sik during testimony.

miss A draws 3,000 fans to their fan signing event in Taiwan

After releasing their first official album in Taiwan a few weeks back, miss A has been making appearances on various Taiwanese broadcasts in addition to holding press conferences and fan signings.

The girls experienced their latest triumph on October 20th when 3,000 fans showed up for a fan signing at a department store. The event was initially supposed to hold only 500 fans, but six times the number showed up and paralyzed the entire area.

Representatives from miss A’s agency, AQ Entertainment (JYP Entertainment‘s sub-agency), revealed, “We’re very happy that at the start of their venture into China, miss A’s album sales have done very well. We will try our best to deliver more good news to match the amount of preparation the members have put into their Chinese expansion… Seeing the amount of interest and anticipation from local fans, we are confident of miss A’s success in their overseas debut.”

miss A will be attending the ‘China CETV Asia, Popular Teenage Star Awards’ on October 22nd, and will start their promotions around various cities in China.

B2ST’s Doojoon in talks for leading male role in Full House 2

Industry insiders revealed on October 21st that B2ST‘s Doojoon was a likely candidate for the leading male role in the upcoming drama, ‘Full House 2‘.

According to representatives, Doojoon is the biggest candidate to star alongside actress Min Hyo Rin. Both are showing high interest in their respective roles, and their agencies are steering discussions in a positive direction.

Cube Entertainment stated, “We’re currently looking over the offer. Because of B2ST’s overseas activities and the need to balance his schedule, we haven’t confirmed his casting quite yet. We are interested in the role, however.”

Doojoon already has acting experience with supporting roles in two MBC dramas, so representatives are looking forward to how he’ll handle a leading role so fast.

‘Full House 2′ will be broadcast through Japan’s TBS next March before making its way over to Korea.
