What made this time special, however, is that the girls managed to top Rocochoku again with their recent release, STEP, which is entirely in Korean and received almost no overseas advertisement. STEP was able to beat out many J-industry seniors like Koda Kumi and Hey! Say! Jump for the top spot.
Kara plans on releasing their 5th Japanese single, Winter Magic, on October 19th. We expect to see great things from the Best Fuckin Five!

Super Junior‘s Ryeowook has shared a selca he took with ZE:A‘s Hyungshik!
On September 22nd, Ryeowook tweeted, “D-day^^ Jung Tae Sung, Ban Hae Won. ‘Temptation of Wolves’ Dream Day. I am going to bed in order to be in the best condition tomorrow. Everyone, goodnight. Hyungshik too, goodnight“.
‘Jung Tae Sung’ and ‘Ban Hae Won’ are the names of characters that Ryeowook and Hyungshik will be playing in their upcoming musical, “Temptation of Wolves”. The two stars will hit the stage together for the first time on September 22nd.
In the photo, Ryeowook and Hyungshik reveal their close friendship by posing cozily together for the camera.

Earlier this month, several celebrities like MBLAQ‘s G.O. and Mir headed over to Peru on a volunteer trip with MBC‘s “KOICA’s Dream“.
Goo Jun Yeob and G.O. were assigned to a remote village located at an altitude of 3,100m. Aside from being covered with a perpetual layer of snow, the village is also known for having many unmarried mothers who leave their children alone at home in order to work. An organization called the ‘INABIF’ will provide food and after school lessons until they come home. Approximately 200 elderly citizens living alone also reside in the small village.

On September 22nd, Japan’s Sankei Sports reported that 2PM's Junsu will be working with Japanese R&B artist DOUBLE for the very first time.
Junsu will be using his solo name ‘Jun. K‘ for his featuring in DOUBLE’s newest track, “Count 3″. The song will be included in her upcoming album, “Woman“, scheduled for release on October 5th.
DOUBLE had previously thought of retiring from the industry after having to go on hiatus in 2009 for gastroenteritis. She said she refueled her creativity after listening to K-Pop and was moved by 2PM’s vocal and performance style, which is why she approached Junsu to work with her for her comeback as a singer.
Junsu stated, “She helped me get comfortable, and thanks to her, I feel like we made something great.” Double stated, “He’s a very positive and respectful person. Very caring, a true gentleman.”

On September 14th, Tohoshinki released their new album "TONE" for download and the respective songs have become since then available on mobile provider site "Recochoku" as ring tones.
With this release, the two handsome men from South Korea created a new record on Recochoku itself, since six of their songs have been ranking first within the daily download charts consecutively for one week straight.
It is not completely unusual that one song of an artist ranks first for several days, yet, with different songs of the same album, has not yet happened.
The physical album will be out on September 28th 2011, and with the mobile charts as an indicator, a high ranking in ORICON and such seems to be apparent.

Due to Song Jihyo's frequent hospital admissions for an allergic reaction and fatigue, her manager expressed his sentiments for the production team behind "Gyebaek."
On the 21st of September, her manager made a post on his Twitter account, giving blow by blow information of what happens on the set. After which he revealed that, "I am angry again now that I'm at the site. They call out a sick person but no one is ready. PD's only tell us to go and get rest in the car. They call us at 8 when they could've called us at 10 and no one tells us about the changed schedule."
Song Jihyo was in and out of hospital since the 18th of September, but went against medical advise and continued filming for "Gyebaek." At some point, her health deteriorated so much that she had to rely on an oxygen mask.
An official from her management also confirmed her condition saying, "The hospital doesn't suggest respirators unless they are very necessary but the doctor said she was in danger when she first came in. He asked why we let her be like this." The official also said that she had to get back to the drama shoot, as she was on a tight schedule.
Would this spark another debate for harsh working conditions in drama productions?

Girl group T-ara will come back on November 1st with a 30-minute music video with a 1,000,000,000 won (nearly $1 million USD) production.
T-ara's existing concept for "Roly-Poly" of retro will be changed for a unique style that'll appeal more to teens and people in their 20s' with an electronic song and melody.
The comeback has the works of Cho Youngsoo who composed T-ara's "I Go Crazy Because of You", Shinsadong Tiger who made T-ara's "Bo Peep Bo Peep" and "Roly-Poly", the Brave Brothers who made Big Bang's best songs, and Kang Jiwon who composed and was involved with Secret's "Shy Boy" and "Magic".
The 30-minute music video was produced in the form of a drama with an exciting story and will feature big stars. The music video was also directed by Cha Euntaek who also directed T-ara's former music videos as well as music videos for the biggest stars and foreign commercials.
T-ara will face big competition with other girl groups with their comeback on November 1st, including Girl's Generation and Wonder Girls.
T-ara said, "We want to deliver to our fans in Korea a perfect and excellent image that we haven't been able to do before. Please have high expectations."
Core Contents' Media's Kim Kwangsoo is famous for producing famous music videos with sad love stories in Korea including Jo Sungmo's "To Heaven", SG Wannabe's "Timeless" and Davichi's "Even Though I Hate You, I Love You".
Kim Kwangsoo revealed that T-ara's new music video will be made on a high scale.
