The ladies of Kara are no strangers to sweeping Recochoku, with all four of their previous Japan releases charting or topping the ringtones chart. What made this time special, however, is that the girls managed to top Rocochoku again with their recent release, STEP, which is entirely in Korean and received almost no overseas advertisement. STEP was able to beat out many J-industry seniors like Koda Kumi and Hey! Say! Jump for the top spot.
Kara plans on releasing their 5th Japanese single, Winter Magic, on October 19th. We expect to see great things from the Best Fuckin Five!
