Korean Vocaloid ‘SeeU’ releases a demo of her debut song, ‘I=Fantasy’

Vocaloid, the popular vocal synthesizer application made popular by ‘artists’ like Hatsune Miku, has rolled out its first ever Korean Vocaloid named ‘SeeU‘.

Produced by SBS Artech, SeeU’s voice was provided by member Dahee of Big Hit Entertainment’s upcoming girl group, GLAM.

A demo of her official song, “I=Fantasy“, was revealed online on August 30th. SeeU comes with Korean and Japanese voice banks and will be out in the Korean and Japanese market by October this year.

The fact that she’s a third generation Vocaloid artist means she has the new 03 engine franchise (tentatively due for release this month), an exciting piece of news for Vocaloid enthusiasts. Overall, it sure makes for an interesting promotional tactic for GLAM in particular, adding anticipation for their debut.

On September 3rd, SS501’s leader Kim Hyun Joong made a special visit to fellow member Kim Kyu Jong’s rehearsal room for his musical, ‘Goong‘.

Goong’s production company tweeted, “Last night, Hyun Joong-ssi stopped by the rehearsal room for Kyu-Taeja and the ‘Goong’ team. Thank you for the drinks.”

Shindong gets Double Eyelids, offers discounts to fans

Back on August 22nd, Super Junior’s Shindong revealed to the public that he underwent a cosmetic procedure to obtain double eyelids.

The idol updated his twitter on September 2nd with two new photos to further reveal his eyelids, and to address other concerns brought up by
his fans.

Shindong tweeted, “Why are … so many of you asking where I got the double eyelid procedure done and how much it costs?? ㅋㅋㅋ if you
truly would like to know then I’ll tell you!! I’ll even help you to the point of getting you a discount!! Would you like me to help??? ㅎㅎㅎ”

Steriliser blamed for mysterious S. Korean deaths

A sterilising agent for home humidifiers probably caused the mysterious deaths of four pregnant women, an official with a South Korean health agency said Thursday.

The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) began investigating after 28 cases of lung disease with unknown causes were reported since 2004, many of them this year and involving pregnant women.

Four of the pregnant patients died earlier this year.

The agency said tests showed that a harmful substance in a steriliser -- used by all the patients in their humidifiers -- could seriously damage lung cells.

Tests showed that those who added the steriliser to their humidifiers were 47.3 times more likely to get lung damage than those who did not, KCDC said in a statement.

So basically, the ballad team slayed everyone. For those who don't know, this week was dance vs ballad genre. G.O, Huh Gak & Kyuhyun were on the Ballad team and Hyorin, Jay & Jiyoon were on the Dance team.
