Korean Vocaloid ‘SeeU’ releases a demo of her debut song, ‘I=Fantasy’

Vocaloid, the popular vocal synthesizer application made popular by ‘artists’ like Hatsune Miku, has rolled out its first ever Korean Vocaloid named ‘SeeU‘.

Produced by SBS Artech, SeeU’s voice was provided by member Dahee of Big Hit Entertainment’s upcoming girl group, GLAM.

A demo of her official song, “I=Fantasy“, was revealed online on August 30th. SeeU comes with Korean and Japanese voice banks and will be out in the Korean and Japanese market by October this year.

The fact that she’s a third generation Vocaloid artist means she has the new 03 engine franchise (tentatively due for release this month), an exciting piece of news for Vocaloid enthusiasts. Overall, it sure makes for an interesting promotional tactic for GLAM in particular, adding anticipation for their debut.

I was freaking out about SeeU on tumblr yesterday. xD I even went as far as to make a Daum so I could join a cafe. . . only to remember I don't know enough Korean to get me by. . .

Anyways, love her loudspeaker ears. I've been a fan of Vocaloid since Meiko and I really expect SeeU to reach the success level of Miku. ^.^ Yay for more bilingual Vocaloids.

heard this a couple of days ago on arama, yeah the song is okay.. but im still confused cause i watched a report about this whole vocaloid thing on german tv a while ago and they said the voices are completely made with computer programs, but in this article they say her voice is by a human, so..?!

It's kind of both. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vocaloid) The sounds are pre-recorded by a real singer but you basically mix and match them and add pitch and tone or whatever.
