I think before anyone says that Leeteuk was wrong for being mean to Kyuhyun and whatnot, I don't think you should blame him. Leeteuk trained for years while Kyuhyun trained for only 2 months. If I was in his position, and I was in an established group after training for years and someone else just walked into my group, I'd be a bit annoyed that they seemingly didn't have to work as hard. But I'm glad that their bond is unbreakable now and they all love each other so much. This episode is a cry fest tbh ;~;

On September 22nd and 28th, Super Junior’s Ryeowook and ZE:A’s Hyungshik will be performing together for the very first time for their musical, ‘The Wolf’s Temptation‘!

Although both idols were cast for the musical, they performed during different times, which made it difficult for the two to be seen on the same stage. Thanks to a special ‘Dream Day‘ concert, however, the two will finally be coming together to perform on one stage.

Previously, Ryeowook had expressed a desire of performing with Hyungshik through Twitter. He wrote, “There will come a day where we’ll be able to perform together, right? Let’s beg the PD.”

On Ryeowook’s first performance day, Hyungshik sent congratulatory wreaths with the message, “We will one day stand on the same stage, right?”

Fans hoping to see the two together have made countless requests, but due to the busy schedules of both stars, it seemed next to impossible. Fortunately, Ryeowook and Hyungshik continued to work with their agencies to balance out a day before eventually coming up with their ‘Dream Day’ concert.

Representatives of Star Empire explained, “Ryeowook really took care of dongseng Hyungshik. He personally made a visit to Hyungshik’s first performance and monitored his acting for him. He’s a senior in so many ways to Hyungshik and he always gave him so much support and advice. Hyungshik really looks up to him as a rock to depend on.”

They continued, “On days where they don’t have stages, they’ll work out their schedule so that they can rehearse together until the early morning. Hyungshik really wanted this stage together with Ryeowook so we’re sure that it’s a meaningful event for him. We hope that it also becomes a great present for the fans as well.”

Thanks to their sweet resemblance, Nine Muses‘ Minha and HyunA have been often mistaken for each other online, with some even questioning whether they’re twins. At the beginning of their debut, they even had the same hair styles, adding to the confusion for new fans trying to tell the members apart.

With a laugh, Minha said, “Sometimes people post pictures with the wrong name. We do hear about our resemblance a lot, but do we really look alike?”

Representatives of Star Empire said, “Minha, HyunA, and Hyemi – the maknae line – have such similar images so we tried to give them individual styles for their ‘Figaro‘ comeback. Minha cut her bangs to go for a more youthful, cute look, while HyunA kept her long, straight hair. Hyemi also cut her hair short about two weeks before their comeback.”

They continued, “The vocal line also all have long, straight hair, so they needed to stand out.”

Members of nine member girl group SNSD visited Sooyoung who was recently placed in the hospital after facing a car accident.

On the 30th, SM Entertainment told Star News, “After Sooyoung was placed in a hospital in Seoul, all the members visited in wishing for a quick recovery” and “Sooyoung gained a lot of strength after the visit of the SNSD members.”

At 9AM on the morning of the 28th, Sooyoung faced a car accident in which she collided with another driver at a local neighborhood gas station in Jukjeon while being on the southbound lane on the Gyeongbu highway as she was headed
towards doing charity work.

On August 29th, MBLAQ's G.O. held an interesting Twitter conversation with BEAST's Yoseob regarding their upcoming plans. The conversation has all their Latin American fans in shock since the news is relevant to them. Yoseob wrote: "Hyung you worked the hardest!! he he to where are you traveling overseas?" to which G.O. replied: "Thank you awesome Yoseob!! he he I'm going to Brazil and Peru ~ Let's meet up before then!!! Let's eat yummy things he he" then, Yoseob also replied back: "Hyung when you go to Brazil please buy a soccer ball for Doojoon.....hehehehehe." Just weeks ago, MBLAQ was confirmed to assist as judges for the KPOP Cover Dance Festival to be held in Brazil on September 7th. MNET & SORIBADA Illegally Distribute Music Abroad

KPOP has earned great popularity overseas, and with that popularity overseas music sales has increased as well. But it has recently been revealed that music distributing companies such as Mnet and Soribada have been illegally distributing music.

Korean music distributors such as Soribada and CJ Mnet have been making a profit by distributing Korean music overseas. The only problem is that the writers or artists that have written these songs do not know about this. They have signed contracts that only allows the songs to be sold within Korean, but the distributors have been selling these songs overseas without the permission of the copyright owners.

A 2NE1 music distribution employee stated, “Since we never mentioned signing an international distribution contract it’s illegal…”

Typically American music distributors such as iTunes will sell a song for approximately 1,500 Won, and give approximately 900 Won to the copyright holders. In Soribada’s case they have clumped together many songs and sold the songs at 60 Won per song.

An overseas user said, “Typically foreign sites cost about $1 per song, but (Korean sites) have lower prices and they come in packages…”

The involved companies have stated it was an employee mistake. Though they have resigned with the various management agencies they are still in the process of moving ahead. There are arguments that major distributors are interfering with the development of Korean music.

Assemblyman Lee Chul Woo said, “Selling someone’s work overseas is no different from theft. To illegally distribute music for free is only hindering Hallyu.”

International music distributors are currently preparing to sue illegal distributors for damages.

SNSD Sooyoung’s Sister: “We Thought We Were Going to Die in the Car”

On August 31, SNSD Sooyoung’s older sister Choi Soo Jin appeared on SBS “Entertainment Tonight” and talked about the recent car accident that resulted in the star singer indefinitely suspending all activities.

Choi Soo Jin, who is a musical performer, told the show, “We saw a lot of blood when the crash occurred and thought we were going to die in the car. Currently, Sooyoung is diagnosed with a fractured tailbone. It’s impossible to get a cast and there’s no specific method to speed up the recovery, so she was told to just take a lot of rest. She probably won’t be able to attend any immediate activities. But unless the performance involves extreme movements, she is strongly willing to make stage appearances, so she’s expected to resume activities to a certain extent.”

Sooyoung was involved in a car accident on August 28, while heading to a charity event for the visually impaired. It was reported that the car on the opposite lane crashed into the vehicle, resulting in Sooyoung immediately suspending all activities for an extended break. She will not be able to attend the “SM TOWN Live in Tokyo” on September 2 and SNSD’s concert in Taiwan either.

As reported earlier, Yoona recently filmed a commercial with actor Lee Minho for outdoor clothing brand EIDER. Earlier, a 20 second "Pre-Launch CF" clip was released on EIDER's website. In the pre-launch CF, Yoona is shown attempting to climb a large rock, but falling several times. The clip ends with a text overlay which says "2011.09.16 FILM OPEN", suggesting that the full CF will air on this coming September 16.

Y-STAR has surveyed 1,000 citizens of Seoul asking who the strongest idols were. The survey revealed that G Dragon beat out all of the top idol members. He was chosen as the top for the categories of team leader, writing/producing, and rapping.

2PM member Nickhun received the most votes in both cuteness and foreign language categories. This placed Nickhun in 2nd place after G Dragon.

To add, the best hypothetical Korean idol group would consist of the following members…

Shinhwa member Kim Dongwan (32) and the actor Kim Dongwan are two different people altogether. Although he’s an idol star with the popularity that has hordes of fans running after him, when one meets him as an actor, he is all seriousness. After completing his military service late last year, he chose to work on the musical ‘Hedwig’ and the drama special ‘The Vertex’. He challenged himself with ‘Hedwig’, the transgender role that’s not easy even to veteran actors, and then went on to play the independence activist and poet Lee Yuk-sa in the Liberation Day drama special ‘The Vertex’. The route he has chosen to take can’t get any further from the recent trend of idol stars playing the male leads in sweet romantic plots. “I like the expression ‘actor of life’. It’s not wrong to say that acting should be natural like living. This year, my goal is to complete the outline of the actor Kim Dongwan.” With his shock confession about breaking up with his girlfriend, whom he dated for a short while, because he was too focused on the musical, shows that he has completely gone into ‘actor mode’.

YG Entertainment officials have revealed that 2NE1 will be jump starting their Japanese promotions one month ahead of schedule.

2NE1 will be traveling over to Japan on September 1 in preparation of their performance on Asahi TV's music program, "Music Station." 2NE1 will be performing the Japanese version of their hit track, ♥ ♥~*="I AM THE BEST."=*~ ♥ ♥

After kicking off their promotions with the music program, they'll be staying in Japan until early October to promote their first mini album and concert. The group recently completed their first Korean concert on August 26 through 28, and will be carrying over their success to Japan on September 19 through October 2 at the Yokohama Arena, Kobe World Hall, and Chiba Makuhari Mese.

They'll be holding a total of six concerts and will be meeting with 70,000 some fans before making what will hopefully be a triumphant return to Korea.

Wooyoung and Suzy to Cameo as a Couple in "Human Casino"

2PM’s Wooyoung and miss A’s Suzy will be making cameo appearances in the new KBS Drama Special, ‘Human Casino‘.

The pilot episode airs on September 18th, and the two idol stars will be playing the role of a couple caught up in gambling scandals.

The two are good friends with the PD of ‘Human Casino’, who also produced the KBS 2TV series ‘High Kick‘. Their scenes will not be a part of the actual drama, but will rather be featured towards the end with the rolling credits.

Kim PD stated, “I told these two that I was starting a new project and they told me they wanted to visit, so I thought of giving them a small cameo role.”

Along with Wooyoung and Suzy, actor Kim Jung Tae will possibly be making an appearance as well.

‘Human Casino’ is the story of an engaged woman who is reportedly found missing, and her fiance believes she has been kidnapped. He later finds out she is caught up in a risky situation with gamblers that use human lives as their stakes.

North Korea trials new ‘luxury tourist ship’

A RUSTY CARGO SHIP festooned with welcome banners today arrived at North Korea’s Diamond Mountain resort – marking the launch of new tours from China, which snub Seoul and aim to replace suspended South Korean trips.

For a decade, the two Koreas jointly operated a golf resort ringed by Mount Kumgang’s seaside vistas and jagged peaks just north of their border, but Seoul halted the reconciliation project in 2008 after a North Korean guard shot and killed a South Korean tourist.

With relations at a low point, the two sides have been unable to agree on terms for restarting the project. Instead, the cash-strapped North has now turned to China, seizing South Korea’s assets at the site known familiarly abroad as Diamond Mountain and evicting its workers over Seoul’s objections.

Now, North Korea is opening the site to other investors and welcoming tourists of all nationalities who will meet in the Chinese city of Yanji, drive three hours by road to the North Korean port city of Rason, and then go by cruise down the east coast by ship to Kumgang.

HaHa to make his comeback after 4 years

Korean mega-entertainer Haha will be making his comeback in mid-September after 4 years of hiatus from the music industry. Haha will be releasing a new mini-album in the 3rd week of September and is expected to appear on broadcasting music shows for promotions. It has been confirmed that Haha has finished shooting for both the jacket photoshoot and the title song's music video.

The last activities that Haha had as a singer was back in November 2007 for the single release "You're My Destiny." In 2008, he enlisted in the army for his 2 year mandatory services and returned on May 2010. After his return, Haha release a digital single called "Alcohol Bottle" ft. Tiger JK. However, he did not promote the single.

Hamasaki Ayumi releases "Why" MV ft. JUNO

In July, it was revealed that Ayumi Hamasaki had partnered up with JUNO, JYJ Junsu's twin brother, for her album's title song song "Why..." On August 31st, she released her 2nd mini-album "Five."

The mini-album includes the title song "Why..." featuring JUNO, as well as "beloved," "progress," "BRILLIANT," and "Another Song" featuring AAA's Naoya Urata.

The music video for "Why..." was also released in which Ayumi Hamasaki takes on the concept of "Alice and Wonderland" with JUNO as the Mad Hatter.

BEG Japan Promotion at Shinokubo, Tokyo

The reclusive Brown Eyed Girls recently made an appearance in the city of Shin-Okubo to promote their first concert in Japan. The girls took photos with fans and a "sassy dance" contest was held. Meanwhile, their Korean comeback remains scheduled for October.
