Korean mega-entertainer Haha will be making his comeback in mid-September after 4 years of hiatus from the music industry. Haha will be releasing a new mini-album in the 3rd week of September and is expected to appear on broadcasting music shows for promotions. It has been confirmed that Haha has finished shooting for both the jacket photoshoot and the title song's music video.
The last activities that Haha had as a singer was back in November 2007 for the single release "You're My Destiny." In 2008, he enlisted in the army for his 2 year mandatory services and returned on May 2010. After his return, Haha release a digital single called "Alcohol Bottle" ft. Tiger JK. However, he did not promote the single.
Haha released his 1st studio album in 2005 titled "The Beautiful Rhyme Diary." Since then, he has only released singles, therefore the new mini-album is significant as he has not released any type of album in 6 years.
It has been reported that Haha has worked on this album as a producer. In addition, he has also hit the weights to prepare for his new album.
Haha has participated in MBC "Infinite Challenge" Music Festival episode with the members of Leessang, who recently has been enjoying high success with their 7th studio album.
Haha's mother, Kim Okjung, will be making her own singer debut with her single "Food Song" on September 1st. The music video for "Food Song" will feature Leessang's Gil, Defconn, and Haha's older sister Ha Jyuri.Sources: Koreaboo and Donga via Nate
