We recently reported that 2PM's Junsu is likely to join KBS's upcoming show "Immortal Song 2," the idol version of "I am a Singer" which will begin airing on June 4. Additionally, the press conference, in which the cast gathered together and expressed their opinions about appearing on the show, was just held on May 16.
A lot of attention has been directed toward the currently confirmed cast. From May 16 until May 22, smartphone portal Jisiklog held a poll asking users to vote for who they think will perform the best on "Immortal Song 2."
Among 1,913 poll voters, IU reached first place with 41% of the total votes. Following behind her were 2AM's Changmin with 18%, SHINee's Jonghyun with 17%, as well as Sistar's Hyorin, BEAST's Yoseob, and Super Junior's Yesung who all received 8% of the votes.
For the question in the poll that asked which artist will perform the best cover of Shim Subong's songs, IU came out on top again with 37% of the votes; Hyorin came in second with 20%. Lastly, as "Immortal Song 2" is the idol version of "I am a Singer," the third question asked which artist would likely be able to appear immediately on "I am a Singer." IU came out on top for a third time with 43% of the votes, demonstrating her immense popularity and potential on the show.

4Minute's HyunAh and SoHyun's cute ink beards brought laughter to the fans during KBS' variety show.
On May 23rd, SoHyun and HyunAh guested on KBS 2TV's variety program "Escaping Crisis Number 1". When they couldn't answer the question asked and succeed the challenge, they had to take the punishment of >b?"wearing ink beards". The usually hot and cute girls had an unusual makeover. They had their faces smeared with black ink which brought laughter to the audience. HyunAh later tweeted to SoHyun: "Become pretty again and fast! We are together, attached to each other with our ink beards."
Netizens who saw captures of the episode commented on the girls' new looks: "Your humiliating pictures are cute!", "The lives of entertainers are tough like this. " and "Even with ink all over the face, you still look beautiful and shining."

Earlier this week, we went behind-the-scenes with Rania and the Brave Girls for their photoshoot with “MAXIM” magazine. Today, Rania’s full cuts were released for the magazine’s June edition, and the girls are as stunning as ever.
Despite it being their first photoshoot since their debut with “Dr. Feel Good“, the girls impressed staff members with the natural poses they pulled.
The editor in charge of their shoot commented, “We barely needed to edit any of the photos because the girls all had such nice bodies.”

FIRST OFF:
After their photo shoot for a double-feature in ELLE Girl in Korea and Japan, our SHINee bbs sat down for individual interviews, letting us know that they are still healthy, well, and derping through life.
About a year ago, Elle Girl Japan asked for related materials and our opinions in their preparation for an article on K-pop. One of the questions was which boy group’s debut in Japan is most expected, and Elle Girl Korea’s answer was SHINee.
The five slim boys’ slogan, “(we are) a contemporary band,” was elusive in the beginning, but now the public understands what it means intuitively. In their pursuit of what is new and best in everything from music and performance to fashion, SHINee was born to be global.
The joint interview both magazines have planned on for months was made in a studio in Shinsa-dong on an April afternoon. An Elle Girl Japan editor came over to Seoul to meet with SHINee whose debut in Japan had been scheduled, and set the place for the meeting with the five members with Elle Girl Korea.

Following tips from the neighbors of the couple, local police arrived at the crime scene and arrested the 37-year-old husband, whose family name is Im.
The husband confessed to police that he stabbed his wife during an argument.
He said Hoang had repeatedly demanded a divorce and planned to run away with the baby on Monday night, which led to their fight.
Hoang arrived in South Korea in April 2010 and gave birth to the baby 19 days ago.
The Vietnamese Embassy in South Korea is verifying the victim’s identity.
Local police have carried out an autopsy on the woman under the witness of the embassy’s officers.
Last July, Jang Do Hyo, a mentally ill South Korean man killed his 20-year-old Vietnamese wife, Thach Thi Hoang Ngoc, just eight days after she arrived in the country. He was later sentenced to 12 years in jail.
Following the case, South Korea pledged to make Korean men looking to marry foreign women undergo a cultural education program and announced tougher rules for matchmakers arranging foreign marriages.
More than a third of South Korean fishermen and farmers who married in 2009 chose immigrant brides, some because they were unable to find local women prepared to lead a rural lifestyle, according to an AFP report.

SM Entertainment announced today, "Girls' Generation will have their second solo concert, '2011 GIRLS' GENERATION TOUR', on July 23 and 24 at the Seoul Olympic Stadium."
Girls' Generation is planning on captivating audiences again with their diverse charms, outstanding singing, showy performances, and perfected stages at this concert. Ticket reservations will begin online through Gmarket on June 7 at 8pm.
As Girls' Generation received positive feedback for having a concert that can be enjoyed by fans of all ages, this concert will have a special family section. These tickets, for 3-4 person families, will go on sale on June 7 at 10am on a first-come first-serve basis.
Girls' Generation will be having their first Japan Arena Tour starting on the May 31, as they will visit 6 Japanese cities with 10 concerts and expect to meet a total of 100,000 fans. Following their concerts in Korea, they will continue their Asia tour in Taipei and Nanjing, along with other major Asian cities.
