The number of views that the K-POP songs at Youtube has been surveyed and the song which has received the most love is Wonder Girls’ ‘Nobody’. The video was uploaded in November 2008 and it has already reached over 50,000,000 views.



2NE1, 2PM, Big Bang, Shinee, SNSD, Super Junior, Wonder Girls, all 7 groups contribute to the TOP 20 songs. 2NE1 and SNSD each has 5 songs on the chart while Super Junior has 4. The followings are Shinee who has 3 songs, BIGBANG has 2 and G-Dragon has 1. JYP, SME and YGE are whom all these groups belong to.

Teddy Riley Confirms Leaving Rania and Company Covers Up A Supposed Scandal

Earlier, it was reported that Teddy Riley may be moving onto SM Entertainment as a producer and other companies to work with "surprise artists." The artist behind Korean songs such as "Demon" and "DR. FEEL GOOD" revealed through tweets that he would have a press conference sometime this week revealing news on Rania as well as his upcoming work.

He revealed that he thought the girls would "be better with [him] in SM Entertainment." Koreaboo, after learning this news, dug into the reasons and issues surrounding Rania and Teddy Riley. We spoke to the founder of PMG (Professional Music Group), Ruk, about the issue and whether or not Teddy Riley had fully dissolved his association with Dr. Music, the representatives of Rania. The representative confirmed that PMG would no longer work with Rania or Dr. Music, stating,"Teddy and PMG have elected to remove ourselves from Rania unfortunately. And there will be some televised press conferences where most of this stuff will be explained in detail."

Se7en admitted on the show "Golden Fishery" that his U.S. foray was a failure.

Having followed the Korean media for some time, I’m all too familiar with the unrestrained embellishment of hallyu.

Every time I read an article raving about how successful the Wonder Girls are in the states, or how Rain is a “world star,” I can’t help but cringe.

Don’t get me wrong. I agree that K-Pop is being listened to outside of Korea and that it has an international fan base, but the media’s coverage of hallyu and K-Pop feel-gooderies is ridiculously one-sided.
