Im Jaebum temporarily leaving I Am A Singer

Singer Im Jae Bum will take a temporary leave of absence on MBC’s “I Am a Singer“. On May 23rd, “I Am a Singer” PD, Shin Jung Soo, stated, “Im Jae Bum will be taking a temporary leave, he will be returning as soon as possible.”

On this day, Im Jae Bum participated in the broadcast of “I Am a Singer”. Afterward, he went up on stage and explained his situation and thanked the fans where he revealed that he would be leaving the program. Representatives of Im Jae Bum stated, “After receiving surgery for acute appendicitis, the hospital ordered Im Jae Bum to not sing for about 4 weeks and have a good rest. Because of this, it will be hard for him to continue on ‘I Am a Singer’.”

The production crew explained, “No decisions have been finalized about Im Jae Bum’s leave from the show. For now, he will participate in today’s filming. After, we will discuss the future course of action with the other singers.”

Meanwhile, on May 16th, Im Jae Bum went to the emergency room because of sudden abdominal pains. He was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and received surgery.

this show is having all sorts of problems with people leaving and whatnot, lol

also would like to say...
I'M SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED THAT KIM YEONWOO GOT ELIMINATED...
He seriously, in my opinion, deserved first place in that episode.
I don't think I can enjoy watching it much anymore (at least for right now) :(

yeah, kim yeonwoo was so good that episode! but i could understand because everyone's performances that round were SO GOOD. like CRAZY GOOD. except for lena park, she kind of didn't do as stellar as usual. and he did poorly the round before... i think it would have been better if he went last, maybe it wouldve changed the results, idk :S

see, this is what was going through my head while watching the episode:
i already knew Im Jaebum would get first (just one look at those ppl crying, and i just knew), but i expected Yeonwoo to be second or at least third (cause Bumsoo did really awesome as well). but then the unexpected happened which totally ruined my hopes--i still can't believe BMK got second place, it was totally out of the blue for me
and yeah... i didn't enjoy lena park's performance much. (figured that i guessed she would get last place, too) actually, i full out hated the song she covered. it was terrible, lol :x (and personally, i don't like the tone of her voice)

i don't understand why he did so poorly the round before either... i really loved his cover of kim gunmo's song
*sigh* now i won't get to see him cover songs anymore~

ITS TOTALLY COOL i have no one to talk about this show either except my family, since we al watch it together :P

im jaebum is pretty flat out amazing, even if i dont like the song (like binjang, i hated the song) but the performances are SO AMAZING he has so much charisma its insane
and yeonwoo seriously did awesome, but i guess everyone forgot about him... and BMK did alright, but i dont think she did well enough to get 2nd. and i've become a huge supporter for kim bumsoo, so i'm happy he placed 3rd :) and yeah, lena park didn't do well that episode, lee sora too. so i'm not surprised that they placed the way they did.
and i agree, i don't like the sound of her voice. i know she's a good singer, i'm just not a fan. but i like it when she sings more powerfully, not her "usual" voice :/

yeah, i have to agree, jaebum is charisma overload--he literally reminds me of a tiger LOL.

and yay :D i've been rooting for bumsoo since the beginning (in fact i only started watching this show because he was in it--and jungyeob, but sadly he got eliminated ;~~~;)
i've grown quite fond of YB, too. he's just awesome and i dig his voice. i really enjoyed his cover of baek jiyoung's "dash" but my all time fav. perf of him was the cover of "나 항상 그대를" (the one where he got first place)
another thing, i don't understand how lee sora still remains. i mean i have nothing against her, but i really am surprised that she's still in the show, LOL

i totally agree with your ranking for that week, that was my supposed top 3 :( oh wells...

and that would be awesome. i'd join that comm in a heartbeat lul. i always get excited for sat&sun cause of dem shows ;; lately i've been REALLY into "1 Night 2 Days" it's so much fun.
