Cube Entertainment shared with allkpop the official album cover for B2ST’s comeback album, ”Fiction and Fact“, nine hours before its scheduled release!
Just like with the silhouettes found in their teaser pictures a while back, this new jacket cover aimed to emphasize both their masculinity and powerful appeal.
“Fiction and Fact” contains a total of 10 songs, including their title track, “Fiction“, their ballad track, “Rainy Days”, and Junhyung’s self-composed track, “Freeze“. Their title track in particular features sorrowful lyrics with an addictive piano riff that tells the story of a man who refuses to accept the loss of his love.
Stay tuned for its release on May 17th!

IU, who's been receiving countless love calls from MBC's "I Am a Singer", explained her decision on choosing the 'idol version' of the show: "I felt that I wasn't talented enough to join 'I Am a Singer'. They’re all legends, and since I'm still learning their songs, I felt that this program would be a better fit."
She continued, "As everyone believes, I'm still lacking in both skill and talent. I hope to gain more experience in 10 and 20 years from now and join 'I Am a Singer' then."
IU was asked if she had any other idol singers in mind to join the program with her, to which she replied, "I actually recommended SHINee's Jonghyun, and I didn't think he'd be joining us here like this today. I'm personally a fan of his voice."
Jonghyun stated, "I actually didn't want IU to come on the program because she's such a great singer. She's a vocalist whom I personally really like. I thought that maybe if one less person came out, there'd be a greater chance for me to win."
Super Junior's Yesung commented, "I hope to show that idol singers can sing too. As opposed to competing, it's just an honor for me to be able to sing the songs of my seniors. I'm glad to be able to showcase good music and a good image."
2AM's Changmin added, "It'd be a lie if I said I wasn't nervous. I'm definitely nervous, and what's most pressuring to me is that all of the idol singers danced and sang at the same time while I just stood in place. I will do my best."
IU concluded, "I, too, think it's an honor to be able to sing great songs alongside my peers. I will work hard so that I do not bring a negative image to my seniors."
Led by Kim Gura and Shin Dong Yup, the show will debut on June 4th with a line-up including Super Junior's Yesung, 2AM's Changmin, SISTAR's Hyorin, B2ST's Yoseob, IU, and SHINee's Jonghyun.

[NEWS] Updates on GDragon's injured leg from YGE
It has been revealed that although Big Bang’s G-Dragon has a cast on his leg, it’s not a major injury. On May 16th, a YG Entertainment representative said, “G-Dragon slightly sprained his leg during the c
oncert. It is not a big injury. He is only wearing the half-cast during performances in case the injury might worsen while moving around. It is okay now. There is no need to worry”.
G-Dragon’s injury was made known by a tweet from MBC’s “Infinity Challenge” producer Kim Tae Ho. He tweeted about Big Bang’s Japanese concert, saying, “GD had a light cast on his right foot.”
While that tweet was made in response to a Big Bang fan, his response quickly informed netizens of G-Dragon’s injury.
Big Bang is currently on their “Love & Hope Tour” in Japan, hitting up Osaka, Nagoya, and Chiba.

But despite an increasingly empathetic view toward the North, an alarming number of South Koreans are of the view that reunification is “unnecessary.”
The Korean youth who will soon be deciding the political direction of their country represent a generation that has no ties to the North.
They do not know or remember a unified Korea outside of what they were taught in history books. They have no tangible family links to the North, other than what they hear from their grandparents.
Now that South Korea is becoming an international economic powerhouse, many South Koreans fear the economic burden that reunification would place on their shoulders. As a result, the realistic possibility of a reunified Korea is becoming something of a dream.

HA! Cha Seung-won has finally shaved off his facial hair, showing off his new clean-cut image in a photo he uploaded to his me2day account on the 15th. Cha wrote the accompanying comment: “I’ve cut off the facial hair at last. You’ll be able to find out the reason by watching Episode 5. I’m Dokko Jin!”
The “cow” descriptor comes from the fact that the shape his hair made was the Korean word 소, meaning cow, as pointed out to Dokko Jin in Best Love’s Episode 3 by Ae-jung’s nephew. Ever since, Jin has been self-conscious about it, going so far as to cover up his face when talking to Ae-jung — it’s one of those things you may have never thought of, but once you see it, you just can’t un-see it.
I just love that the proud movie star is motivated to fuss with his appearance because of a crush on a girl. It’s exactly the thing Hwang Tae-kyung (Jang Geun-seok) did in an early episode of You’re Beautiful, when Mi-nyeo expressed a preference for his older hairstyle, only to have him immediately go to the salon to bring it back. And then go through verbal backflips to explain that he changed it because HE liked it, not because she had anything to do with it AT ALL. Can’t wait to see how Jin explains the change.
Granted, the 소 was much more pronounced in Athena (below, left), when it had practically had a life of its own. It actually doesn’t look so bad in Best Love, but I’ve been wanting to see him clean-shaven for so long that I’m doing a little happy dance now. Thank you, Hong sisters!

On May 14th, Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko married his girlfriend of five years, Kim Soomi, at the Marriott Hotel in Seoul.
Various hip hop stars guested at the wedding, including Supreme Team, Leessang, Kebee, and San-E. Through Star News, Gaeko thanked guests and fans for their support through Star News by stating, “Thank you so much for congratulating our marriage. We promise to live happily.”
Congratulatory performances included Kim Bum Soo, Tony An, Leessang, and Gaeko himself.
His wife, who is currently five months pregnant, has decided to temporarily name their baby ‘Rhythm’ in tune with the father’s hip hop roots.
Gaeko will be returning to the military for his service until his discharge this August.

On the 4th of May, a picture of B1A4's appearance at MBC Pyojun FM 'Park Kyung Lim's Starry Night Radio' was uploaded. They were dressed in ordinary street clothes rather than outfits and were smiling brightly just like their appropriate age. This has attracted even more attention.
Jinyoung, BARO, Sandeul, CNU, Gongchan from B1A4 whose song from their Mini album is 'O.K'. The promoting activities as a rookie group has really been getting a lot attention as a pop group with young and talented singers who have good looks and extraordinary singing ability.
On this day, B1A4 appeared with their cute looks, with lots of affection which also gave listeners a good time on Park Gyeong Rim's Starry Starry Night's '7 minutes talk' section. This increased the amount of Noona Fans, securing the next-generation that B1A4 is awesome.

Every year, the third Monday of every May is “Coming-Of-Age Day” in Korea. This is when people who turn 20 years of age — the official adult age in Korea — celebrate this milestone. This year, there were 16 popular idol stars that were born in the year 1991, marking this year as their “coming-of-age year”.
First up, there’s the youngest member (aka “maknae” in Korean) of Girls Generation, Seo-hyun. She shared, “I’m so happy because I started receiving interest and love from so many people even before it was Coming-Of-Age Day. I’m so thankful for everyone who stood by me and cheered me on as I advanced throughout the years and even congratulated me as I’ve reached this adult age. I’m a bit embarassed of the immature side of me that I’ve shown, but now that I’m an adult, I’ll try to show more responsibility and a proactive attitude as I grow. I want to have even bigger dreams and challenge myself.”
Another singer is the charismatic leader of 2NE1, CL, who is now of age. She expressed her thoughts as well on this special day with a bright smile, “I want to be a kid forever. Please treat me like a kid.”
Miss A’s Min was also born in 1991. She said, “It hasn’t hit me that I’ve already hit 20. I’ll try to show that much more responsibility through my actions now that I’m an adult.”
The leader of new rookie group A Pink, Park Cho-rong is also now 20. She shared, “For some reason I do feel more responsibility now that I’m really an adult…although I still feel like a young girl. I’ll try to be an adult-like leader who does her best! I didn’t expect congratulations to come my way, but was so moved by the fans who have already started sending me perfume and roses. I think it’ll be an especially meaningful Coming-Of-Age Day.”

Miss A’s Suzy revealed her clear, no-make-up face.
On May 15th, Suzy uploaded a sel-ca through her Twitter, tweeting, “During a break from rehearsing!!”
In the picture, Suzy is wearing a comfortable sweatsuit and looks to be sitting on the floor during her break from practicing. In particular, netizens were drawn to her clear complexion and pure image.
Netizens stated, “Your look a little pale”, “explosive pureness”, “How are you so pretty?”, “I look forward to your appearance on stage”.
Meanwhile, miss A’s management company, AQ Entertainment, revealed on the 16th, “We plan on releasing the first full album around next week. I know some of you might be a little apprehensive to watch SJ-M sans Geng but on the upside, the other members (ESPECIALLY KyuHyun and little of RyeoWook) have really stepped up and make SJ-M a joy to watch on these variety shows.
Anyway, since I don't really see any being posted here (though I know quite a number here are probably following them pretty religiously) I thought I should share three which I really like so far (unfortunately most of them have yet to be subbed). =)

Yesterday, JOO and Super Junior’s Leeteuk unveiled their duet collaboration, “ICE CREAM“, online. JYP Entertainment has shared with allkpop that both the digital single and the music video’s popularity have been soaring, thanks to the combined interest from fans of both labels.
Since fans were usually accustomed to seeing JOO sing ballads, “ICE CREAM” (which is also Leeteuk’s first ever duet) came as a sweet treat for them. The song is currently rising to the top of the charts on Naver, Daum, Bugs, and Melon.
Many listeners left favorable reviews, pointing out that the fun melody line and catchy guitar rhythm. The heartwarming song wittily tells about the different feelings between a man and a woman in love. Fans also remarked over how JOO and Leeteuk were able to bring so much emotion into the song, making it sound as if it were sung by real lovers.

A Pink’s leader Park Chorong has been cast for MBC’s sitcom, “All My Love“!
The rookie idol will be filling the void of Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga-In, who recently decided to depart from the program, with her final episode scheduled to be shown at the end of May.
Chorong will be playing the role of a highly popular part-time worker who is loved by all of the children in the fictional town. Representatives elaborated, “Her character’s a bit awkward, but there’s a certain charm to her that you can’t quite put your finger on.”
Chorong’s already completed recording her first episode, and said, “It’s still awkward for me but as it is a great opportunity, I will put my nerves aside to do my best. I hope to show a different of me.”
Fans can look forward to her first appearance on May 17th.

4minute’s leader Ji Hyun recently shared a cute selca set that she took during a photoshoot.
On May 16th, Ji Hyun tweeted, “Filming outside right now! It’s really nice out. Everyone should go have fun at a nearby park! It feels like you’re photosynthesizing.”
In the attached three photos, you can see Ji Hyun smiling innocently to the camera while wearing a white shirt, a black school blazer, and a striped, navy blue tie.
Meanwhile, 4minute are currently active in their follow-up promotions with the song, “Heart To Heart”.
