Kim Junho explains his decision to work with Avex

Kim Junho, famous for being JYJ Junsu's twin brother, has debuted in Japan on April 28th. The company he's signed a contract with is none other than the same company that is currently caught up in a contractual dispute that involves his younger brother, Avex Entertainment. The company has suspended the activities of JYJ since late 2010, and the trio has recently filed a lawsuit against the company over its continual interference in activities such as their charity concert.

Kim Junho recently tweeted about the reason behind his decision to sign with the company that his younger brother has a dispute with.

An article regarding the Japanese company I’ll be working with has finally been published. I think there will be lot of people who worry and have unkind things to say about the decision. I had been talking to this agency even before the guys’ problem arose, and I finally made the decision to pursue the venture seven months since the happening began after thinking about it and discussing it with my family and those around me.

We’ve settled it so that there is a minimum chance of the situation becoming a problem, so please don’t worry about it too much. I too thought long and hard before laying down this decision. Though you may say that it was the wrong decision to make, it has been made, and I must take full responsibility of what is to come. I just hope you do not hurt my family. I will just work hard. I’m sorry and I thank you all.

Yesterday, we reported that Lee Ji Ah withdrew her lawsuit against Seo Taiji after he came out with a statement addressing their divorce. Turns out, the two had actually come together prior to the announcement for a settlement of $1 million USD + α.

On May 1st, a representative that is well-acquainted with this lawsuit revealed that Lee Ji Ah and Seo Taiji’s lawyers met several times to discuss a settlement in hopes of preventing the lawsuit issue from getting out of hand with the public.

IU's ecstatic after learning that Taeyang chose her as his favorite "Heroes" member

On the latest episode of SBS's "Heroes", singer IU was absolutely ecstatic when she found out her ideal man, Big Bang's Taeyang, had chosen her as his favorite "Heroes" member.

In the popularity survey, for which 100 male idol stars took part in, each participant were required to write down their three favorite "Heroes" member in ranking.

It was revealed that three idol participants, 2PM's Wooyoung, Super Junior's Eunhyuk, and Big Bang's Taeyang, had written IU for all 1st, 2nd, and 3rd spots.

IU remained timid, but relaxed when Wooyoung and Eunhyuk’s names were called out. However, the moment Taeyang's name was revealed, IU immediately jumped up and down like a crazed fangirl.

Go Hyun-jung publishes beauty book

Add actress Go Hyun-jung to the list of actors-turned-authors; the Daemul and Queen Seon-deok star has published a book of beauty secrets titled, appropriately enough, Go Hyun-jung’s Secrets.

The book covers Go Hyun-jung’s everyday life in “documentary format,” which, uh, okay. (I suppose we can deduce that it means there are photos and short descriptions/essays/ blurbs describing her life, but still. Oh well; this wouldn’t be the first time the word documentary was stretched to describe one of her projects.)

With its publication, Go joins other actors like Eugene and Song Joong-ki, who have both put out similar books within the past year or so. And I suppose if you’re going to peddle a beauty book, it helps to be known for beauty; Go was even a beauty pageant queen back in the day. Er, maybe princess is a better word; she was the Miss Korea runner-up back in 1989. (Trivia! A few other Miss Koreas in the biz include Secret Garden’s Kim Sa-rang, as well as Mrs. Kwon Sang-woo, Sohn Tae-young, who was a runner-up in the same year. And, of course, there’s also Honey Lee from 2007.)
