Actor Song Joong Ki recently made his last appearance on the SBS variety show, “Running Man”.
On April 1st during the broadcast, Song Joong Ki regretfully announced, “I have decided to leave due to my movie filming.” The actor received immense popularity from viewers and fans alike for his cute and dorky personality on the show.
Song Joong Ki couldn’t help but shed tears out of regret for having to leave his closely-bonded cast mates, which caused fellow members Song Ji Hyo and Lee Kwang Soo to also let out some tears.
The PD of “Running Man” has decided to continue on with the show without a replacement for the time being.
Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki is currently working on his new movie titled “Every Little Makes Romance”, co-starring actress Han Ye Seul.

I legit thought about it though, who'd be the first one to leave, and I kinda think it would be him :/ .. Actors/actresses/models are usually the first ones to leave variety shows since their management feels like their "real/free" image they give off on variety shows will keep them from getting work :/
sigh.
I hope he joins as a guest one day.

Date: 2011-05-02 12:04 am (UTC)I've never felt like Joongki was the type to have a super filled up schedule and when he was doing Sungkyunkwan Scandal he missed quite a few episodes due to scheduling. I feel like this decision was made because of that experience.
