Ricky Kim to become a father in February

Actor Ricky Kim has revealed that he’ll be a father!

Kim married musical actress Ryu Seung Joo back in 2009, and the couple was blessed with news of their first pregnancy. The baby is expected to be born next month, and both the parents are said to be in great condition and prepared for their next phase of their life.

Kim commented, “I’m still so young, but being able to be a father feels just like a dream. I’ve always dreamed of starting a family and becoming a father, but to have that dream realized is really amazing. I put my hand on my wife’s belly and try to communicate with the child. The child sometimes even kicks me with his foot, it’s very cool.”

When asked what ‘tae-myung’ (a temporary name given to a child before their birth) they chose, he replied, “The baby is a gift from the sky, so we call the baby ‘Sky.’ My wife is taking a break from her career and focusing on prenatal education. What’s cool is that my brother’s child is expected to be born on the same date as us.”

Ricky Kim is currently filming for KBS’s “Dream Team", as well as various other dramas.

In the storyline, Nichkhun will be partnered up with Yoon Young Ah’s character to film a commercial. However, their relationship deepens when the pair gets the opportunity to perform as “Romeo & Juliet” in the showcase. Through playing the star-crossed lovers and becoming a knight in shining armor both onstage and off, Nichkhun will help to rebuild the self confidence of Yoon’s character.

T-ara experiences their worst wardrobe crisis yet

On January 27, Coca-Cola held it's annual Sports Award for the 16th year running.

The event was filled with athletes that have made a mark in the sports scene. But the performers in the event, T-ara seemed to have made a mark worthy of praise from everyone.

In the event, T-ara came to entertain the atheletes there. They performed their hit songs like 'Bo Peep Bo Peep' and 'Why Are You Like This?'. They came with 2-less members as Hyomin and Jiyeon were out for their own schedules.

But what really got the attention of the people was not the missing members, but the wardrobe malfunctions that the members faced. In the video of their performance, T-ara were constantly seen holding onto their tops that seem to be falling off.

Without proper handling, this would have been an easy target for netizens to make fun of. Yet, the girls seemed calm and professional, exactly knowing what to do. Though evident, their actions went well with the dance, by putting their hands on top of their chest, slowly pulling up the outfits. Leader Boram even consciously zipped her jacket up to protect from further accidents.

New addition Hwayoung also experienced it, as she was swiftly pulling her dress up. Eunjung's outfit was constantly falling off of her aswell, but she was making sure that nothing extreme will happen.

Last month, lead vocalist Soyeon experienced this aswell, as her zipper for her outfit couldnt close because of her microphone. Putting this into consideration, Soyeon thought of how to hide the unzipped back while still giving a great performance.

Why were their outfits falling? Well even if they were basically wearing the same outfits, the difference is that they usually wear a mic reciever underneath that is bulky, making the shirts tighter, that's why on shows this doesnt happen. But for this performance, they had no mic recievers, thats why their top was loose.

South Korea's Farm Minister Offers Resignation Over FMD

South Korea's Farm Minister Yoo Jeong-bok has offered to step down owning responsibility for the most severe outbreak of the foot-and-mouth disease in the country's history.

"I plan to do my utmost to try to contain the FMD (foot-and-mouth disease) outbreak as soon as possible, and once the situation comes under control will step down," he told reporters on Friday in apparent response to criticism by politicians and the media about Seoul's response to the disease.

The highly-contagious animal disease returned to the country in late November, just eight months after authorities claimed to have eradicated the virus.

The latest outbreak, first confirmed in Andong, south-east of Seoul, has since spread to cattle farms in six provinces and two major cities.

The Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries ordered quarantine effort since a confirmed infection on November 29.

More than 2.88 million livestock have so far been culled at a cost exceeding $1.34 billion and tens of thousands of others vaccinated to prevent the disease from spreading to other cloven-hoofed animals.

The government is also simultaneously fighting an outbreak of bird flu, which was reported in late December.

It is barely five months since Yoo took office as Farm Minister.

KARA's Hara Is Looking For A Rental House

KARA’s fans have raised their concern after knowing that Goo Hara is looking for a rental house.

Goo Hara is currently looking for a house in the Nonhyun Ward Kangnam District in Seoul. She has been living in the dorm with fellow group members in Heangdang District, Seoul, but recently, she is wanting to live independently. One person said "She is looking for a rental house in Kangnam for moving around easily and also because it is near the company headquarters."

A real estate agent expressed, “On the afternoon of 22, Goo Hara came here with an acquaintance to look for a house. She called in first before her visit. I also heard she is also visiting other agents around here to search for a house.”

The fans left many comments as follows:
- I believe that you are fully capable of living alone, but there are many real estate companies these days so you should go together with someone who can give you advice on good and reliable places.
- It is very dangerous for young women to live alone. Since everybody knows about this now you should be really careful to prevent theft.
- If she is living alone, cooking/eating will be troublesome, I am really worried.
- That area is very pricey and some parts is very dangerous.

Besides, many fans again expressed concern about KARA.
- In this current bad situation, and she decided to live alone, I am so worried that the members would become more distant.
- What if this is a sign of the end?
- The more I listen to news, the more I feel that the problem is getting worse. It hurts.

Stars attend grand opening of new hair and beauty salon, “Vaira”

Various stars recently attended and celebrated the opening of “Vaira“, a hair and beauty salon run by famous star hair designer, Minsang.

Celebrities who attended the event include actors Lee Seun Hyun, Kwon Oh Joong, Jo Yeon Woo, Jangmi Inae, Ryu Seung Soo, Wang Ji Hye, Park Joon Geum, singers f(x), Wheesung, Hwayobi, Park Hye Kyung, and magician Choi Hyun Woo.

Some highlights of the event included Minsang personally taking photos of the celebrities there, as well as a display of a beauty photo collection from famous photographer/writer Lee Jin Soo.

DBSK Feels "Pressure" On Music Station with SNSD

Yunho (24) and Changmin (22) have become the reborn "DBSK" with 2 members. On the 28th they restarted their activities and performed on TV Asahi's music program "Music Station". Since they stopped their activities, it's been a year and 1 month since they've appeared. In the beginning they greeted the host, Tamori, but saying, "It's been a long time". Yunho smiled, "I'm really glad to be able to perform on Music Station like this again". Before singing, Changmin shyly told his thoughts about being in Japan after a long time, "It's been a long time since we've came here, so I'm worried our Japanese skills have gone down compared to the last time we were here. We'll work a bit harder". Their company juniors, SNSD, also performed. Yunho grumbled and laughed at the thought of his junior's cheering for them there, "On the contrary, it kind of puts pressure on us". They performed their new song "Why? (Keep Your Head Down)". The former 3 members oppose their exlusive contract to SM. Starting last April, DBSK had stopped their activities.

According to actress/model Lee Sun Jin, it appears that Big Bang’s G-Dragon and Seungri will appear on the variety show, “Strong Heart“, once more.

Lee Sun Jin revealed through her Twitter, “On my way home from recording ‘Strong Heart’. I fell for Big Bang’s Ji Yong’s and Seungri’s honesty and humility. Honestly, it’s true that I was prejudiced. From today, I think that prejudice will be left with my stupidity.”

Later on, she wrote, “To Shinhwa’s Dongwan, Hyo Jin, Jeong Rin, and Young Chul - whom I haven’t seen in a long time…To Moon Hee Joon, cute SuJu, Big Bang, Lee Seung Gi, cool Kang Ho Dong oppa, etc – those who I wanted to get an autograph from – I regret not taking even one picture~~Ahh. Singer G.NA has been headlining for weeks due to the glamorous body shots seen from her ”BLACK & WHITE” teasers. But according to the songstress, possessing such a body can be quite troublesome at times.

G.NA revealed during a press interview, “My body is a size 44, but I’m a D-cup so I have to stretch out the chest area for my clothes. I can’t buy bras in Korea either since it’s hard to find sizes for thin bodies with D-cups.”

Despite earning praise and headlining for her curves, G.NA explained, “Because of my big breasts, my shoulders and neck hurt a lot.”

Netizens commented, “I guess even perfect bodies are troublesome,” “Well, anything in excess isn’t good,” and “It must be hard to express such concerns anywhere.”

Super Junior's Heechul and Leeteuk got into a minor car accident in Singapore

It was supposed to be a big weekend ahead for ELFs in Singapore, as Super Junior would be holding their first concert 'Super Show 3' in the
country. However, on the 28th of January, it was reported that members Heechul and Leeteuk were involved in a minor car accident.

On their way to the Swiss Hotel in Singapore, it was revealed that the van Heechul and Leeteuk were in got into a minor accident, as their fans' van bumped into theirs. Fans further confirmed that the two were okay after the accident with just a little damage on the van. It was also revealed that Leeteuk waved to the fans who rushed worried to the scene.

Later on, the two expressed their concerns over their fans' safety on Twitter. Leeteuk tweeted, "Singapore here..Feels like a very beautiful place..^^it's okay to follow us..but be careuful...7 cars rear-ending accident..I almost got killed..", while Heechul tweeted, "now now if you want to see us, then come to the stadium. Everyone's in danger. I prefer not to have old memories coming back to me again~."

The duo's plea further turned into a trending topic, as other fans tweeted their worries and reminders via the tag 'Heeteuk'. Meanwhile, Super Junior will be officially meeting their Singaporean fans through 'Super Show 3' in Singapore's Indoor Stadium.
