A new “idol rock band” consisting of five members will be debuting with a remake of Baek Ji Young’s hit track, “DASH.”
The group is belongs to the agency Story, which also manages singers Kim Jong Seo and Jack Kim. The members consist of leader and drummer Sunghyun, vocal I-OH, vocal Minyong (a former participant of “Super Star K“), bassist and maknae ZEU, and guitarist Youngjun.
Story Entertainment stated, “Led Apple is unlike any other idol group that reveals their members before their actual debut. The group has been kept highly secretive in order to make sure their success is entirely dependent on their skills. They’ll become an idol group that can dance, sing ballad, rock, ballad, and play instruments all at once.”
Led Apple is set to debut in the beginning of October. Their teaser will be released on the 29th, and their digital song and music video will be released on October 7th.

T-ara will be in full support of the new Core Contents Media rookie group, Co-Ed, on this week’s Mnet ‘M! Countdown’.
It has been reported that T-ara members Eunjung, Hyomin, and Jiyeon will be the special MCs for this week’s episode. They revealed, “In addition to our image on variety programs, we will show everyone exactly our talents as MCs.”
The producer of ‘M! Countdown’ revealed, “The singers will be appointed as the special MCs, and plan to show a different image of themselves. As much as the singers desired to be appointed the MCs, the viewers response to this has also heightened. We will try our best to not only give everyone the best stage, but to make the show enjoyable.”

Wheesung has already announced SHINee’s Jonghyun is his favorite hoobae. Recently, the R&B veteran further validated this fact.
In an interview for donga.com, Wheesung talks about his 2009 hit Insomia, saying, “It’s just the title song, not personal experience. Insomnia, depression… Now I can laugh. The one who turned me good-natured is SHINee’s Kim Jonghyun.”
Wheesung goes on to relate that his greatest desired result during album promotions was to transform the ‘unpleasant’ to ‘pleasant,’ and that it was Jonghyun that helped the most in that transformation.
The artist also boasts the SHINee fans are as good as his fans now too.
“These days I’m greeted and welcomed warmly wherever I go. This is all thanks to Jonghyunie. Because I gave Jonghyunie pointer lessons when his throat hurt and I participated in SHINee’s album as a lyricist for 2 songs, their fans even support me.”

Actor So Ji Sub will be the first celebrity ever to get his own road named after him.
The “So Ji Sub Road” is 51km long and will be paved in Kangwon-do. Construction will begin this winter with the goal of completing it by the summer of 2012. Through this road, tourists will be able to experience the beauty of Kangwon-do’s “gift of nature.” A 5.1km long hiking trail will be included along with a So Ji Sub gallery.
So Ji Sub first showed off the beauty of Kangwon-do through this book, “The Road of So Ji Sub,” and helped introduce the many charms of the city. He was then appointed the tourist ambassador of Kangwondo for his efforts.
Representative of Kangwon-do stated, “Thanks to So Ji Sub, the image of Kangwon-do has improved drastically. ‘The Road of So Ji Sub’ will be an opportunity to get Kangwon-do’s beautiful forests more widely known to not only Korea but overseas as well.”

We know, thanks to Analytics, that there’s many K-pop fans in the great continent of Europe but unfortunately there isn’t much opportunity for Europeans to get a glimpse of their favorite K-pop stars in person. Well, here’s a chance for you to possibly make a difference.
Yesterday, JYJ (Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu) announced the release of their upcoming global album titled “The Beginning”. In addition to this, they also announced a 8 city new album showcase tour from the 15th of October to the end of November in both Asia and the United States… once again, Europe is off the list.
Tired of being ignored, European fans started a project called “Let’s put Europe on the map!” They sent out various e-mails and a fan coordinator of JYJ’s tour (Monica) responded to their emails. She stated that they would like to see how many European fans actually exist and how many are willing to travel through Europe to attend a possible concert. The survey where they’re collecting this data can be found here.
If enough people participate, who knows… you might be seeing JYJ in a European country in the near future! I’m sure some of your favorite acts will also follow if JYJ were to put on a successful show. Remember to participate in the survey.

The National Assembly’s Culture, Sports, Tourism and Broadcasting Committee yesterday requested that three entertainment business tycoons - Kim Young-min of SM Entertainment, Lee Ho-yeon of DSP Media and Park Ki-ho of GP Basic Entertainment - appear at the parliamentary audit Monday as witnesses.

Brown Eyed Girls’ youngest member Ga-In is releasing a debut solo album of her own, and the concept photo has just been released.
Her management company revealed that the album will be produced by the same staff that created the Brown Eyed Girls’ “Abracadabra” concept so fans can expect “high quality” results.
The photo shows Ga-in with chic sexy styling and a charismatic look, upgrading her image to a new feel and concept. The music video for her new single will be released October 8th, and the album will be available for sale on the 12th.

T-ara's Jiyeon and Hwayoung throw a celebratory for Co.ed's debut.
Coed is a new rookie mixed group consisting of 10 members, including Hyoyoung (17, Ryu Hyoyoung).
Held this spring, Hyoyoung won the 80th annual Cheonhyung pagaent. Now, she will be debuting as an artist tonight through MNET M!Countdown with her groups title song, Too Late.
This group is especially unique because of the female and males members. It is also unique because Core Contents Media recruited twins, Hyoyoung and Hwayoung, who joined T-ara as the seventh member. Today the sisters were reunited and showed holding a cake, which attracted attention.
Hyoyoung said, "I really tremble when I think I'm going to debut. During the holidays, we did not even get a break but instead we continued training hard. For our first broadcast, we will show we prepared everything well."
She also said, "My twin sister, who recently joined T-ara, has good faith in me that we can be successful," she said laughing.
Meanwhile, former SeeYa member and current Co.ed leader, Soomi, said, "Through Co.ed's cool dance moves I'll be able to show a new image. I'm looking forward to showing fans this."

On September 29th, SHINee spent an enjoyable date at Cheongwadae (The President’s House) with the 2010 FIFA U-17 World Cup Women’s Football Team.
SHINee was able to meet with the team’s members, as well as Korea’s president, Lee Myung Park, and they performed ‘Nuna You’re So Pretty’ and ‘Ring Ding Dong’.
SHINee was invited to the President’s house because they were chosen by the players as their favorite idol group. The group was well received, especially during their performance of ‘Nuna You’re So Pretty’.

Super Junior Gets A Vacation
Super Junior will be leaving for a sweet vacation.
After receiving permission from their management, Super Junior members will be able to enjoy a week of vacation starting at the beginning of October.
During this time, members Lee Teuk, Kyuhyun, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Eunhyuk will be leaving for Italy, while Kim Heechul will heading to the States. Other members will enjoy their free time accordingly.
However, members Shindong and Choi Siwon will be postponing their vacation, due to their respective dramas. Shindong is currently appearing on the new Monday/Tuesday SBS drama Doctor Champ, while Siwon is busy filming for upcoming drama Athena, which is scheduled to air in December.
Super Junior members have been busy up to this point with releasing their fourth album, holding their third Asia tour, Super Show 3, as well as taking part in the SM Town Live ’10 World Tour.
