Date: 2010-09-29 11:04 pm (UTC)One of my bestest best friends ever, who I was in love for the better part of our freshmen and sophomore years in college, has been living in Korea for two years and recently came back for a few weeks. I demanded that we meet up and as he's a pretty amazing musician, he wanted to know what kind of Korean music I was into.
He was taking a bite of his bagel when he goes, "Oh! I met a really famous Korean pop star. You might know him."
I was thinking, pfft, probably not and he goes, "Brian? Do you know Fly to the Sky?" and I started squealing. Apparently he met him through one of his fellow waygook friends and was actually IN the recording studio when Brian recorded one of the songs on "Manifold." (And Lee Hyori was next door and he got to meet her too.)
No one who knows me in real life understands why I think this is so cool and it makes me sad. :(
