Thunder signed a deal to shoot a commercial for coffee brand "Cafe Mori", just ten days into his debut, J.Tune Entertainment said in a press release.

MBLAQ to star & seduce in new reality show?

There's a report that MBLAQ, the new boy group by Rain / J. Tune Entertainment has tentatively agreed to star on a new reality show by Mnet titled 'The Art of Seduction.'

Instead of the typical documentary of boy bands who release their pre-debut stories, this documentary will be a bit different. As the MBLAQ boys will take on abnormal challenges, such as trying to use their seducing skills to meet top stars like Lee Byung Hun and Jeon Ji Hyun.

This will be a difficult challenge for the boys as they're relative newcomers (nobodies) and it will be difficult to meet such A-list celebrities with their current credentials... but then again they do have a big name like Rain attached to them. Thanks to just_loving_HIM for the tip.

Jo Kwon, who made a guest appearance in the KBS 'Global Beauty Talk Show' (Misuda), confessed that he had never kissed before, while talking about first kisses.

Following this, MC Nam Hee Suk suggested that the American beauty Bianca, who claimed(?) that she had also never been kissed, and Jo Kwon to do an enactment of a kiss scene.

'Jaebum Marketing' Stop!

After having left 2PM, Jaebum has been the target of exaggerated marketing tactics. Various broadcasting companies have been using Jaebum as a means of advertisement. Jaebum's agency, JYPE, has expressed their disappointment. "Jaebum is spending time by rethinking his actions. We understand why everyone is so curious and interested about him but we wish everyone would just step back and give him the time he needs. Please stop intruding into his personal life."

The 'Jaebum Marketing' issue was exacerbated with a show aired on the 25th. 'Sunday Night' producers chased not only Jaebum but also his father.

Netizens have been expressing their anger with the intrusion into his personal life, his house, his family, and his day to day activities. They also criticized the panelists irresponsible and aggressive statements. The discussion board for this show has reached 2,000 posts with netizens expressing their anger.

It is not only broadcasting companies taking part in 'Jaebum Marketing' but also cable channel's Mnet and their MAMA production. They released a statement saying that they would like to bring Jaebum onto their show. Unfortunately, Mnet failed to take into consideration of JYPE's situation. It is basically a 'He could come' but a 'He also couldn't come' situation, making the fans angry with their irresponsibility.

It is expected for much more broadcasting companies to use Jaebum in their marketing ploys up until the end of this year. JYPE has stated "With such intrusion into Jaebum's personal life, we believe that him and his family will only be in more pain. Should such events happen again, we will personally step in and request a decline for all intrusions."

Actor Kim Bum and Bae Soo Bin’s upcoming new movie “Emergency” is unveiled today!

“Emergency” movie starring Kim Bum, Bae Soo Bin, Kim Byul and Lee Chae Young will be officially released on 3rd December.

Thus far, press for Kim Bum’s new movie Bisang [비상] — in which he plays a nightclub host — hasn’t really focused on his co-star Bae Soo-bin (Angel’s Temptation), but the actor gets prominent placement in the newly released poster for the film. Both actors play smooth characters, but they harbor opposing views on love: Bae plays a man who doesn’t believe in it, while Kim Bum’s character is the type to risk everything for it.

The action-melodrama also features actresses Kim Byul (as Kim Bum’s love interest) and Lee Chae-young (Iron Empress). It releases on December 3.

MBLAQ and 2NE1 to perform on same stage

MBLAQ, particularly member Thunder (천둥) is just all over the news today! It's not all that surprising though since he is 2NE1 Dara's younger brother. Anyway, the two groups will both be performing on October 31st at the Seoul Olympic Stadium for the "Superstar Power of Love Concert."

Thunder stated to a Newsen reporter:

"It will be the first time for me to appear on the same stage as my sister. I'm very happy."


It's also been revealed that Rain will take the stage that day and a match between him and MBLAQ will unfold.

It is unclear whether Thunder and Dara will put on a special joint performance, but one can only hope the two siblings pull out a special surprise.

Photos of f(x) from their winter K-Swiss photoshoot have just been released and they are absolutely adorable!

These photos are the first of f(x)'s endorsement deal with K-Swiss. The concept of their very first K-Swiss shoot is "Sporty Retro," a style that K-Swiss believes only f(x) can pull off with their unique charismatic personalities.

Although the shoot started very early in the morning and ended late at night, the f(x) members showed no signs of exhaustion and were bright and full of energy the entire time, creating a great atmosphere.

K-Swiss' Marketing Manager stated:
"With their strong performances and refreshing stage presence, f(x) has been gaining a lot of love. We highly anticipate that f(x) will be huge in revitalizing our brand. This photoshoot however is a little different from their typically strong presence on stage. Their image here fits their age well and shows off their bright and cute side."

The photos from this shoot will go into full effect on November 9th, with displays throughout the K-Swiss retails stores as well as through advertisements.

Recently, Super Junior M and their junior Zhang Liyin have released a mini album [Super Girl] and an album single [晴天，雨天 (qing tian, yu tian, Sunny Day, Rainy Day)] respectively. During the album release conference held in Beijing, Hankyung not only helped Siwon apply lip balm, but the two also joked around, acting out an intimate scene as lovers taking photos. Regarding the criticisms Super Junior member Kangin has received for his involvement in a drink-and-drive accident, Hankyung not only expressed his support for his fellow group mate but also vouched for his character.

Court rules partial provisional disposition of exclusive belonging terms for TVXQ’s contract with SM

The court has gave out the final ruling on the lawsuit between the 3 members of Dong Bang Shin Ki and SM Entertainment.

Seoul Central Court revealed on 27th October a citation of their ruling for the lawsuit between the SM Entertainment and TVXQ Hero JaeJoong, Xiah JunSu and Micky YooChun.

It was revealed, “We see that part of the terms in their contract has much destroyed the good morals of the whole contract. SM Entertainment should not interfere with its singers’ independent unique activities and also contract to perform and other entertainment activities.”

Previously in July, the 3 members of Dong Bang Shin Ki has revealed their 13-year long contract under SM Entertainment, which meant that they will possibly be working under SM Entertainment for life, and has applied for the effect of provisional disposition of the terms in their contract. And the 2 parties have engaged in a lawsuit as SM Entertainment insist that the terms under their contract are reasonable.

The court also revealed, “Through the individual agreement, there is high possibility for group activities to continue, but for the provisional disposition of the existing activities and the profit allocation, it is invalid and difficult. We will have to dismiss the application for the full provisional disposition of the effects of the exclusive belonging terms in the contract.”

The court ruled partial disposition of the exclusive contract terms – to dispose of the SM Ent’s interference to the members’ independent unique activities and also contract to perform and other entertainment activities.

But the part about profit allocation will still have to stay.

The 3 members have announced that they will agree to the court rulings on this lawsuit.

this the news that I read in soompi the courts in favor of the boys, and they stated that the boys should be able to be more independent (meaning they can reject schedules that SM proposes and can do their own businesses without interference) but not move companies (meaning all the boys will be under SM!) However! This is not a final decision, and the exact, absolute one will come out in the near future. I hope u are no longer confused
