SS501 on American advance, “We felt the wall to American advance is really high”

Group SS501 has revealed that the time is still not ripe for their American advance and for the time being, they will be focusing on their Asian promotions.
SS501 recently met up with a reporter and they revealed, “Currently, there are many seniors who are advancing into the American market and are doing promotions there. But through them, we felt that the wall into the American market is really high.”

They added, “In anyway, right now we will be concentrating on promotions in Korea and Asia. With that, if we get good results and spare time and energy, we will think about it again.”
Currently the group is doing their first Asian concert tour 5 years after their debut. And also on 20th October, they released a new minialbum ‘Rebirth’ in Korea after 1 year and 7 months.

They will perform the title song ‘Love Like This’ on KBS Music Bank for their comeback stage on 23rd October.

Hottests do time-stop flash mobs for JaeBum

2PM fan union UnderGround did a flash mob for 2PM leader Park JaeBum on 18th October in front of MyungDong Migliore. This is the 2nd flash mob by the fan union, they did it in a time-stop format at the specific time after their first in Samsung Coex on 19th last month. The title to the flash mob was “Without you, Jaebum, it feels like the time has stopped” and 107 participants were present from 1.58pm till 2pm.

Remember how f(x) was supposed to open for world star Beyonce? It never happened! f(x) was nowhere to be seen at Beyonce's Seoul concert. Fans were very confused at not seeing the quintet on stage before the diva came on.

2AM's Jo Kwon and Brown Eyed Girls Ga In's fixed appearance in 'We Got Married' (WGM) has been confirmed and there are mixed responses among the 2AM members.

Ga In (22) and Jo Kwon (20) have been chosen as a married couple for the Chuseok special of MBC 'We Got Married'. The Ga In - Jo Kwon couple is supposed to represent young couples where the wife is older than the husband. The episode that aired had reached number 1 in ratings at the time. The two had finished the 2nd filming on the 14th after the confirmation of their fixed appearance on the 7th.

Regarding this, 2AM member Seul Ong had recently expressed his envy as he stated that "the two are too cute" in a recent interview with Newsen. Seul Ong and the team's youngest Jin Woon are part of the 'WGM' panel. During the interview Seul Ong stated "I just finished filming 'WGM'" and added "I was watching the Jo Kwon-Ga In couple footage and I was dying because they were too cute."

The team's oldest Chang Min worried for Jo Kwon's fake marriage life during the filming of MBC 'Quiz to change the world' (Sebaki) stating that "I have a lot of worries". As the only current idol member that has completed his military service, Chang Min worried for young Jo Kwon's married life because he has no experience in dating or relationships, and went on to boast "I've already kissed early on in life".

On the other hand, Jo Kwon had left a message for his fans on the 20th through the iSky message service stating, "Our newlywed house is a container box, *sob*" "It was tiring but fun filming"

In the Chuseok special of 'WGM' Jo Kwon who is 2 years younger than Ga In, showed a considerate and gentlemanly side as a younger husband in contrast to Ga In's honest and tough image.

Jo Kwon prepared a wedding car decorated with flowers and the slogan "marriage is a good thing" and surprised Ga In, showing a strong and reliable side of him as the younger husband.

The next episode of the two newlyweds crazy marriage life in the first ever mobile truck lovehouse will be aired on October 24th.

FT Island Choi JongHoon has recently further blown up criticisms against him on his minihompy.
He referred to the incident between him and KARA Park GyuRi on MBC ‘SaeBaGwi’ aired on 17th October. On the show, Choi JongHoon was introduced as the “pretty boy acknowledged by all” and then the MCs said, “This is the concept similar to that of Park Gyuri. What do you think about Park GyuRi?”
With that he faced Park GyuRi and said, “That person’s personality is a little frivolous, my personality is that I’m honest and straightforward.”
Guess what happens next.
Netizens then broke into hot debate saying, “No matter what, she is 2 years his senior, such a comment is a little too inappropriate”, “Such words said on broadcast is a little too much, like he did not think through what he said at all” etc.
With netizens’ criticism, Choi JongHoon wrote an apology on his minihompy on 18th October.

Our yellow-haired Infinity Challenge member, Noh Hong Chul, is yellow-haired no more!

Apparently, Noh Hong Chul traded in his trademark yellow for another color at the hair salon because he was seen at a fashion photoshoot sporting darker roots.

Noh Hong Chul took part in Numero magazine's photoshoot for an episode of Mnet's 'Trend Report Feel Season 4,' and I must say, Numero did not fail to disappoint us once again. The concept of this photoshoot was to fully express the color black, and Noh Hong Chul did so by dying his hair the color and portraying a stronger/more serious image.

The visual director stated, "For this photoshoot, we showed a different, more serious side of Noh Hong Chul than what is portrayed through the loud character who always yells out 'Let's go~.'"

Narsha reveals her real age because of Seo In Young

It was reported last week that Narsha was actually two years older than what everyone knew. She had revealed on a recording of Strong Heart (Kang Shim Jang) that she was 29, instead of 27 which everyone thought it was.

That was finally aired on the 20th where Narsha revealed, "This is the first time I am revealing this since my debut four years ago. When I debuted, I said that I was born in 1983 (meaning that she is 27). But I am actually going to be 30 next year. I was born in 1981 and I took off my real age by two when I did my profile. I am going to be 30 just like Jang Nara and Park Ye Jin (both were on the same show) next year."

As for the reason on revealing her real age now as opposed to other times, Narsha explained that it was because of Jewelry's Seo In Young.

Narsha said, "We (Brown Eyed Girls) met Jewelry backstage at a music show recently. As they were next to perform, we greeted them out of courtesy. But to my shock, Seo In Young (born in 1984) petted my head and said I was cute although she was much younger than me. So I decided that I had to reveal my real age."

BEAST's New Album Is A Hit

New boy idol group BEAST / B2ST, who recently released the MV for their title-song "Bad Girl," has been a hot topic since their debut.

With their title-song climbing up the online music charts, over 10,000 people have ordered their mini-album.

One of the representatives for BEAST stated, "There was originally 5000 pre-orders, but after their debut stage and album release, 5000 more was immediately ordered. It's really unusual and almost unheard of to see a rookie group getting over 10,000 ordered albums... I think BEAST is getting more and more attention as people look at their performance and hear their songs. I think they're garnering interest because of the quality of the songs and their outstanding skills."

It's looking like BEAST is getting more popular by the second! The two rookie groups MBLAQ and BEAST be a great rivalry from many years to come with their fast popularity!

SHINee's Onew rings the Golden Bell

SHINee's leader Onew rang the Golden Bell on KBS 2TV 'Star Golden Bell.'

On the 19th at the recording of Star Golden Bell, Onew showed outstanding wit & skills. He was especially outstanding during the 'Match the initial sound' corner. On this day the initial sound that was given was 'ㅈㅈ.' Unlike other guests, from start to finish Onew was confident and gave correct answers to the initial sounds and made it to the final obstacle.

Onew who was the final person even answered the final question correctly which was about toothbrushes and its origin. Before Onew wrote the answer down, MBC Ji SukJin who returned to Star Golden Bell said "Putting SHINee's reputation on the line...," "if you lose it will be humiliating so leave out SHINee's reputation" and gave the audience laughter.

On this recording, Onew also got picked as "the most embarrassing member" by the SHINee members. SHINee member Key said "Onew always walks coolly in front of many people but in the end he trips."

On this episode all members of SHINee, Lee KyungShil, Solbi, Shin Bongsun, Suh Hyolim, Kim Taehyun etc...appeared together. The airing date is on the 24th.

On their MBC drama, "Heading to the Ground," main characters and love interests Jung Yunho and Go Ara have a kiss scene. The two faux lovebirds accomplished the scene in one take! Kiss scenes usually require multiple takes. Does anyone remember Sandara Park and Lee Minho? That took about 100 takes!

When asked about their past training in Korea on a certain entertainment programme on Enlight Media, both Hankyung and Henry said that the experience was extremely scary to them at that point in time and it is not inappropriate to call it a “boot camp (lit. ‘devil training’)”.
