WonderGirls YooBin replies to Lenka “I miss you too”

Currently promoting as part of WonderGirls in America, YooBin recently related her feelings for ‘Pop Fairy’ Lenka through her minihompy.

She wrote a post on her minihompy which was a reply to Lenka. She wrote “Lenka, I miss you too ㅠㅠ’ which was a reply to Lenka’s “I miss you” to her.

Currently the WonderGirls are currently doing the opening act for the Jonas Brothers for their American concert tour and are not able to meet with Lenka who went visiting in Korea.

Lenka is a singer songwriter from Australia and was in Korea for a rock festival on 26th July this year. And in an interview she did in Korea recently, she said, “I first know of the WonderGirls through Perez Hilton’s blog and they were really fun.” expressing her wish to meet up with the girls.

JaeJoong’s mother joins Superstar K

The mother of TVXQ’s member Hero JaeJoong recently joined a singing competition which put her in the spotlight. Wu Shiying (T/N: Chinese name for JaeJoong’s biological mother) joined Mnet’s talent competition “Super Star K” last month.

She passed the regional audition and entered the second round. Although she entered the third round that took place in Seoul Coex, she didn’t make it.

Jaejoong’s mother joined “Super Star K” because the production team knew of her talent and her passion towards singing, and so they sent her her an invitation to join. When they had first approached her, she hesitated and said that “I’m not fated to sing,” but she gradually accepted the offer and the whole process of her audition was filmed.

HyunA of 4minute (ex-Wonder Girls) finally revealed how she felt about the Wonder Girls' success.

On the most recent episode of KBS2TV Star Golden Bell on 25th July, she stated that, "In the beginning, I was hurt and uncomfortable when the Wonder Girls became successful. It was a new feeling that there was someone new in my place. However, as time passed, I became more comfortable with it."

Director Gu Hye-sun talks about her film at PiFan

Boys Before Flowers actress Gu Hye-sun’s directorial debut is screening at the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival, or PiFan, which opened last week and closes this weekend. The film, translated literally as The Cheerful Caretaker [유쾌한 도우미], also goes by the English title The Madonna.

The short clocks in at 14 minutes and also screened at the Busan Asian Short Film Festival in May, where it brought home the Audience Award. At PiFan, Gu Hye-sun spoke about making the film and her intentions behind writing a story that deals with the topics of death and euthanasia (mercy killing), as a man seeks relief in the church. She explained, “I didn’t want to make it a story about morality or euthanasia, but about a person’s choice.”

Cinderella Man gets its apology

The fighting is over for drama series Cinderella Man, which had been accused of plagiarism in May by the production company of another proposed drama. On July 24, nearly two months after the drama limped to its June 4 finale, Cinderella Man and its production company, Core Contents Media, got an official apology and retraction.

Back in May, production company LK had said in an interview that Cinderella Man had ripped off a drama it had been developing called Fashion King. Core Contents immediately countered the claims and jumped to defend Cinderella Man’s producers and writer, going so far as to sue both LK and the media source for defamation.

On July 24, the paper issued a correction, while Fashion King writer and representative Kim Ki-ho publicly stated, “After examining Cinderella Man, there is too weak of a basis for the claim, so it is not plagiarism.” And thus concludes this chapter in fashion-drama sniping.

Since the release of MC Mong’s 5th album, it has been dominating online music charts everywhere.

There has been an exceptional interest in the young guest rapper, B.I. in the song “Indian Boy” after seeing him perform during his comeback stages. There have been many queries about B.I on portal sites, Naver, Daum, etc. and questions about him flooded online bulletin boards.

Fans were impressed with B.I.'s charisma on stage as well as his excellent rapping skills. Some of them even expressed, "B.I.'s the 10 years younger version of Big Bang’s G-Dragon."

According to MC Mong’s agency, “B.I.’s real name is Kim Han Bin and MC Mong specially invited him to rap in the song.” MC Mong met B.I. earlier and was impressed after hearing him rap on the spot.

MC Mong’s ‘Indian Boy’ live performance consisted of changing into different colourful costumes and a fun dance choreography which attracts the attention of fans and viewers. “Indian Boy” is currently number 1 on the Hanteo chart and is also climbing up higher on other music charts online.

Key's First Impression of Jessica: "She was scary"

Shinee's very own Key spoke up about his first impression of Girls' Generation's Jessica when he met her for the first time while he was a trainee. Currently the MC for the show 'Right Now is the Flower Boy Era', he revealed his thoughts as fellow SM members Jessica, Sunny, and Hyo Yeon were on the show.

When Jung Hyung Don asked Key about his first impression of Jessica, Key replied half jokingly, half seriously, "She was scary". When Jessica was asked about her first impression of Key, I think she was trying to get back at him a little because she said "I didn't even know he existed" as a joke. Of course the audience laughed, but the fact that he had only good things to say about his first impressions of Sunny and Hyo Yeon just made everything funnier.
