Big Bang to Perform on Music Station July 17th!

Big Bang is scheduled to appear on July 17th's Music Station program on TV Asahi. This is a great honor for Big Bang as it took TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki a very long time and patience before being invited.

The TV Asahi website for Music Station states that Big Bang will be performing their new single "Gara Gara Go!" Congratulations to Big Bang for being invited to Music Station.

LPG 2nd Generation to perform song ‘Jang Dong Gun Lee Hyori’ on SBS Inkigayo

Coming back with new members, group LPG 2nd Generation will perform the song ‘Jang Dong Gun Lee Hyori’ on SBS Inkigayo on 12th July. The song was already released on various music sites on 10th July.

Not only is the title to the song catchy with the names of big stars attached to it, the lyrics are as eye catching. The song started with the lyrics “How come Jang Dong Gun has not gotten married?” The reason to that was to try an unique approach to song lyrics.

And netizens are loving this idea, many commented with, “This is a very fresh idea” etc.

Super Junior + Samchongsa for Music Core

Super Junior T members Shindong, Kangin, Eunhyuk will perform “가자” (Let’s go) with trot group Samchongsa on Music core this week (tomorrow). It is said that they’ll dance to “Sorry sorry” & “Lets’ go” choreography during the performance. Also, "Let's go" is composed by Yoon MyungSeon ("Rokkugo"), which explains why "Let's go" & "Rokkugo" sound familiar. It will be aired at 4.20PM on July 11th. Can't hardly wait ;DD

myx or MYX (pronounced /miks/ as in "mix") is the music channel of ABS-CBN (the television network where Sandara Park first appeared as a contestant in the 2004 Star Circle Quest and won 1st runner up to Hero Angeles) and is currently one of the most popular music channels in the Philippines. It is also a part of Studio 23's program line-up.

MYX Philippines is known for featuring the music videos' lyrics on-screen, allowing the viewers to sing along. This was inherited from the defunct karaoke channel VID-OK.

2NE1's Fire lands the #2 spot on Myx Philippines' Hit Chart and International Top 20 for the week of July 5-11, 2009. Rankings are determined by the number of votes and requests sent via email but mostly through SMS.

Note: I was in denial about this for several days. Seeing is believing, I guess. But I am not surprised since Sandara Park has a large (loyal and extremely supportive) fan base in the Philippines. If she got over 2 million text votes from supporters in 2004, what's another couple of million for 2NE1 to reach number one on Myx?

Was it ever mentioned here that Sandara Park is called Krung Krung in the Philippines? I don't even know the literal translation for Krung Krung but the closest would be rattled AND crazy (in a good way), I guess. She's the National Crazy Ass Koreana (Pambansang Krung Krung) of the PH.

fayelafee made me listen to 2NE1's "Let's Go Party" yesterday and Sandara spoke Tagalog/Filipino (not Spanish). During the intro, she said "Punta tayo sa fiesta!" (Let's go to the fiesta!). The Pinoy fans will go nuts when they hear this.

KBS Enter News Calls Onew a Coward?

Apparently, the reporter asked Onew if he was a coward regarding the recent incident when he fainted on Music Bank, and this caused some awkwardness during the interview. Jonghyun then stuck up for Onew and tried to divert the attention away..The programme also proceeded to compile a series of him falling down.

What were the fans’ response to that?
Fans were furious and felt that the reporter was totally unprofessional and disrespectful.

• “it looks they were seriously trying to push the whole thing on him”
• “Bringing a professional in to analyze the situation, compiling clips of Onew’s clumsiness? WOW. Really.. just wow. How much LOWER can they get?”

JYP's new 3-member girl group’s debut postponed to next year

The debut for the much anticipated debut of JYP’s upcoming 3-member girl group has been postponed till next year.

It was initially planned for this 3-member girl group to debut this summer, but it has been changed till next year.

A representative said on the 10th, “We have initially decided for this group to debut in August, but we have decided to postponed on reasons of the groups’ promotions and also other groups' activities. They will debut beginning of next year instead.”

The representative also provided, “Their average age is in their mid-twenties. They are the talented participants chosen from JYP’s yearly auditions. They will be an idol girl group with impressive vocal capabilities. They will show their own style that is different from what you have seen in all the girl groups so far.”

Their specialty will be their vocal powers, but they will not be dumping the idol group image.
