Finally got to watch Seventeen's acceptance of their (well deserved) award and I laughed when I noticed that Minghao and Jun walked the wrong way on the stage at first~

You can tell Seungcheol is nervous as he's thanking everyone, he looks like he's trying so hard to make sure he doesn't forget anyone.

I feel bad about cackling when Jihoon thought Cheol was done and then NOPE and he still tried and Cheol didn't even notice. Jihoon even slapped his arm.
It's okay, at least Cheol handed him the award and told him to speak in the Vapp.
God they were cute af.
Also seeing SHINee, BTS, and EXO jamming to them and congratulating them made me so super proud.

I feel so bad for BoA. She's such a queen, and the audience gave her such a lackluster response for the Shadow. I wish her music was still loved the way it should be.
At least she doesn't seem to be letting it get to her, but I just..I dunno. I have so much appreciation for her talent, how hard she has worked over the years, it just sucks to see that so glossed over these days. At least the audience seems to have woken up a bit once she started dancing, but damn.

Bomi's vocals on Remember are actually awful.
BoA sounded so out of breathe/off during Kiss My Lips, but she slayed The Shadow and lol @ Taeyeon & Ailee with their cute little signs for her.

I'm really happy BoA won even though I think it's a questionable win. Her album was quite good. I understand people being pressed about it though.

Ailee winning Dance Performance is iconic. She has a broken leg and was sitting down, still a better dancer than your faves apparently.

EDIT: Also idk if I'm for children dancing to EXID songs as of right now...like I get here it's supposed to be cute but like...the song is still what the song is about and the moves are a bit..

That weird thing Ailee made with her leg during her performance makes even more funny that she won a dance award lol if her not being able to dance during her comeback wasn't enough.
Being such a good singer, wasn't there any more appropiate award for her? It's too funny to be real hahaha

I enjoyed a lot San E performance, but mostly because I really like both of the songs.
BTOB was pretty impressive considering the sound wasn't helping to almost any group.
I liked Red Velvet, this time the clothes was in their favour.

Yesterday's SMA was such a fun ride. I think the attending artists had plenty of rest the day before they looked so happy at the ceremony. Performances weren't so good but looking at their cheerful actions made up for it. I wonder what makes artists often tense up during award shows if they could enjoy it to the fullest like yesterday's?

And Kwak Siyang was really cute when his fellow presentor announced VIXX won. He was geniunely happy for VIXX (err hongbin) he did the fist thing as soon as VIXX name was mentioned, and he was grinning the whole time. A bit sad that hongbin didn't get on stage quick enough because they ushered Kwak Siyang to the side quickly.

Also i love that "VIXX CLOTHES" Trend everytime there's a big event and now nonfans look forward to vixx outfits. Exo kfans especially wanting VIXX stylist to work with exo now lol

Idk if she's lost weight or is just out of shape bc I saw some pics of her from something before and you can see there's a lot less definition and more "flab" that she didn't have before.

Hyorin and Soyou both sounded awful, Hyorin with her scratchiness and Soyou with her nasally voice. I blame it partially on the fact that they seemed to be screaming over the music but also bc they're out of practice and this song is incredibly hard to sing.

TL;DR Starship needs to get their act together, I was reminded of 2NE1's flop MAMA stage with this lmao

BoA's win was....unexpected. I liked Kiss my Lips and the rest of her album well enough, but enough to say it was the best album of the year? Would have given that to Wonder Girls, BTS or Hyukoh, tbh.

Also the dance awards are making me WTF. I love every single one of Monsta X's songs, but their dances feel off, or lacklustre, a lot of the time, so I don't know why they won. And Ailee...omgosh girl I love you, but you didn't even dance during your comeback this year. Are they shading all of the girl dancers this year or something?
