Flashback Friday

Hello. This week flew by and I forgot it was Friday. Every week I go through the charts for this day in the past and post the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, we’re going back 7 years to the 4th week of September, 2012. All the songs have been posted before, so let’s check out some live stages.

#3 Secret “Poison”
There are a few Secret songs that I always get mixed up, and this is one of them wtf lol. The more I watch, the more I remember this choreography though. I think I’ve always liked the choreo more than the song lol. I also really liked the styling this era, I remember these suits.

Happy Friday! I made it out of jury duty alive this week, so I am ready for the weekend! Every week I check out the charts for this day in the past and post the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, let’s see what was on top for the 5th week in March, 2014. The ladies dominate the top three, so I let the guys have the honorable mentions this week.

#3 Orange Caramel “Catallena”
I remember this being super popular, I felt like they promoted this for some time. I love their sushi outfits here so much, I really liked all their styling this era. So pretty! I still laugh whenever I see that compilation video of the song’s opening with their (especially Nana’s) “Hah!” from the live stages.

This week seemed to fly by! Maybe because I’m dreading the weekend. Family weddings, ugh. I don’t even know if it’s an open bar or not. Every week I go through the past charts for this day and share the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week let’s look back on what we were listening to in the 2nd week of December, 2010. A few songs were posted before, so we’ll see some live performances this week. Lots of fun jams!

#3 Girls’ Generation “Hoot”
I liked this song, and I definitely liked the live stages more than the MV. Because l adore the styling this era so much (omg I love big hair lol). They look sooo good! The song is fun too, and I still love this choreography a lot. Shashay right into my heart with those struts Miss Seohyun and Miss Sooyoung.

#3 Orange Caramel “Shanghai Romance”
I don’t remember this song at all. But some of the choreography does look familiar to me. This was part of the group’s “One Asia” project, along with “Bangkok City”. That one I remember, it’s a freaking jam! Wikipedia also tells me that Super Junior’s Heechul wrote the lyrics for this song.

His solo debut! And a very MJ debut. He always seems more grown up to me when he does solo stuff. All grown up now with exposed grown man chest lol. I’ve always liked this song, and I still get the chorus stuck in my head. I like all his looks here, I love the suits!

#3 Big Bang “Love Song”
Ohhhh, Love Song! Since the first listen I’ve always known that I would always love you. And 7 years later you’re still a forever favorite. This era is also one of my forever favorites, all of them so handsome in suits. Something about these stages also suit GD so well, I think it’s the choreography. Top still looks like he’s a baby bird flapping his wings for the first time.

Last Flashback for 2017! Every week I check out the charts for this day in the past and post the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, we’ll see who was on top for the 5th week of December, 2011. Two of the songs this week were done by the same composer, Cho Young Soo #GetMoney. I only remember 1 song from this week…I was probably most likely either still hungover from all the eggnog (I fucking love eggnog), or already pre-gaming for New Year’s (I swear I’m not an alcoholic). #3 Zia “Depressed”
Um, I do not like this video at all. I can’t get past Julien Kang’s hair. It’s pretty bad in every single scene. But Fuji Mina is super pretty! And Zia sounds great as usual. I like the song a lot better than the MV.

Raina talks about the future of the far more popular 🍊 Orange Caramel 🍊

During a recent interview, Raina was asked about whether or not the hit After School unit Orange Caramel might be making a return.

Raina made her debut in Pledis Entertainment’s girl group After School in 2009, and has also been part of the group’s hit unit Orange Caramel along with members Nana and Lizzy. The trio is known for their hits including “Catallena,” “My Copycat,” “Lipstick,” and more, and hasn’t promoted together since 2014.

Meanwhile, Raina recently released a new single album including the title track “Loop,” which features NU’EST’s Aron.

EXO’s Sehun recently posted a series of photos on his Instagram featuring contestant Jo Yong Geun from “Produce 101 Season 2.”

“They say that you can vote on April 7 if you go to the official homepage of ‘Produce 101 Season 2,’ he wrote. “You don’t have to vote~ Just show a lot of interest please. Good luck Jo Yong Geun!”

Jo Yong Geun is a trainee of HF Entertainment, and previously showed off his dance skills during his introduction video. He stated that his goal was to become a multi-talented artist who was an expert in both singing and dancing.
