YG Family reveals Yang Hyun Suk is not as gentle as he seems on ‘K-Pop Star’
When it comes to Yang Hyun Suk‘s gentle, fatherly image on ‘K-Pop Star’, it seems that there is more to it than meets the eye. On the March 27th broadcast of SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘, the members of YG Entertainment gathered for a YG Family special episode. In the episode, MC Lee Seung Gi took the opportunity to ask YG Family about Yang Hyun Suk’s real self.
Yang Hyun Suk, who is currently serving as a judge on ‘K-pop Star‘, was not present during the recording, and so the YG Family members began to reveal various secrets regarding their mentor. In regards to Yang Hyun Suk’s kind and gentle image on ‘K-pop Star’, Big Bang member Daesung commented, “I think our boss is infatuated with his angel-like image on ‘K-pop Star’.”
He continued, “On the show, he is very kind and encouraging to the contestants but I have never seen that side of him in real life. I only see that on television.”
Fellow Big Bang member G-Dragon added, “I have never directly received a compliment or positive feedback from him. However, he says good things about us to other people and we hear those through them.”

Seungri reveals Dara stepped on the hearts of three guys
Big Bang member Seungri revealed some secrets about Dara‘s love life.
On the March 27th broadcast of SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘, Seungri said, “Dara always says on TV that she has never dated, but in fact she is a very scary girl.”
He continued, “Sandara told me she was lonely so I set her up with two guys who were Lee Seung Gi style, the type of guy that every girl likes. But Dara didn’t keep in contact with them so they both lost touch.” Seungri continued to talk about a third guy that he introduced to her. He was a gentle guy who actively approached Dara with an open heart. He even went to her house to see her but she did not come out to meet him.
In regards to this, Dara explained, “He was someone who actively pursued me but I was worried about how he might have a misconception of who I really am. I have a bright and cute image on television but in reality, I am not like that. I was scared that he would leave after he found out what I am really like.”

Singer Se7en revealed 2NE1 member Dara‘s ideal man.
On March 27th, in SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘ YG Family special, Se7en elaborated on Seungri‘s revelation about Dara . Seungri revealed, “The Sandara Park everyone knows is the wrong image. The statements that she never dated, which she said because of the dating ban, are lies.”
Se7en added, “So that’s why the text messages keep coming recently” as he revealed that Dara’s biggest problem is her low standards. He revealed, “The four or five guys Sandara Park asked me if they were okay, didn’t really act like men, had bad personalities, or had bad manners.”
He added, “Note that Sandara likes younger men…Sandara doesn’t see them as men if they are the same age as her or older. She likes flower boys, like Lee Seung Gi style.”

Dara’s dating ban to be lifted in May
Dara is getting ready for the lift of her dating ban in May!
On the March 27th broadcast of SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘ 13 members of YG Entertainment including Sean, Big Bang, 2NE1, Se7en, Tablo, Psy, and Gummy appeared as guests.
During the show, Dara received attention when she said, “In May my ban on dating will be lifted by the agency,” and revealed that she had asked Se7en and Seungri to help her overcome her loneliness.
To showcase her charms to her potential boyfriend out there, she performed her parody of Se7en’s, ‘Even if I Can’t Sing‘ by changing the lyrics to fit a girl who gets dumped by her boyfriend because she has no aegyo. She called the song, ‘Even if I Don’t have Aegyo’. She sang, “Even if I don’t have aegyo, even if I cannot wear short skirts, even if I can not longer fool around, and turn 30 soon. Can you love me just the way I am?” and brought laughter to the audience.

Big Bang’s T.O.P confesses he has a short temper
Big Bang‘s rapper T.O.P confessed that underneath his flawless appearance, he has a rather short temper. On the March 26th ‘YG Special’ episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘, T.O.P remarked that he would reveal everything about himself, putting everything out on the table.
“I have a rather short temper,” he began. “I don’t know how to control it, especially when people call me by my nickname.”
“My nickname is Bingu,” he said, which roughly translates to ‘stupid’. “In the past, Daesung revealed my nickname ‘Bingu’ on an episode of ‘Family Outing‘“, he continued, explaining that he had started to lose his temper with Daesung then as well.
T.O.P then revealed his ‘Bingu Dance’, then even performed a comical couple dance with fellow YG pin-up male, singer Se7en.

Singer Psy revealed that Big Bang‘s T.O.P is well aware of his dashing good looks. On the March 27th broadcast of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘, Psy remarked, “I used to think T.O.P wasn’t aware of how good looking he was.”
“In the past, I would joke and say to him, ‘You’re really good looking’, to which he would bashfully respond, ‘No, I’m not’“, he continued. “But I didn’t know if he really didn’t know how good looking he was, or if he was just pretending not to know.”
“However, at the recent YG concert, I saw him looking at himself in the mirror, so I came up behind him and once again told him that he was a good looking guy. T.O.P then started to make poses and admired his looks in the mirror,” he revealed, causing T.O.P’s face to become red with embarrassment, as well as laughter on the set.

Tablo’s wife wants him to be more like Psy
On the latest episode of SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘, rapper, Tablo shared a funny side of his wife, Kang Hye Jung. On the ‘YG Family Special’, Tablo playfully revealed that his wife constantly compares him to singer Psy. ”Other wives tell their husbands to be more like Won Bin, but I get compared to Psy hyung“, he said, during the recording.
Tablo revealed that whenever his wife listens to Psy’s rap, she says, “This is what I’m talking about. Rap should be like this“, and when she sees Psy’s performance, “This is what you call powerful, power!”
The set cracked up when Tablo concluded, “I’m starting to wonder if I should become more like Psy. I find myself forcing myself to hang out with him, and sometimes my wife pressures me to do so as well.”
