with regards to the rankings at the end, i was wondering why there were suddenly 29 'experts' instead of 30? + i wish they would allow groups to motivate why they voted for which groups because now it really feels like they are leaving groups guessing why they rank high or low instead of providing constructive feedback to each other. also i would like to see the groups getting the chance to express their inspiration and concepts to each other too instead of just the viewer. aka i just want more group interactions and more focus on the process behind the stages
this one is pointing to the difference in mbti between inseong (left, extrovert) and hwiyoung (right, introvert) in supporting friends in other groups

No bc i honestly get half the younger groups mixed up in my head) i don't remember which episodes each performance was in but I thought BTOB's rendition of Backdoor was super creative, so it doesn't surprise me that the other guys all voted for them. I have very different opinions from the "experts" it seems. I think it was Ateez (?) that won with their rendition of Rhythm Ta and while I was fine with their remix of the song, I was not really impressed with their actual performance tbh, or at the very least i was more impressed by other groups. Also unlike the actual men on the show, i actually dislike when people are randomly shirtless or randomly rip their shirts during performances without it making sense to the story they're trying to portray. It in no way appeals to me and i would really rather groups try to attract me with their skill rather than their body. Minhyuck in the dressing room made sense and then him ripping his shirt at the end i was just like ??????
I was happy we got to see the groups interact a little more with these past two episodes. I remember Peniel saying that they weren't allowed to communicate much in fear that they'd "spoil" things and ruin reactions. Changsub just straight up hanging up when stray kids(?) Asked BTOB who their favorite member was hilarious. That whole conversation was hilarious with Peniel's imitation of hellivator
Also i just wanted to comment i find it absolutely hilarious that knives need to be blurred out but ya know dancing with guns and simulating shooting people is just fine.

Date: 2021-05-01 11:55 am (UTC)I always knew the rankings on this show were bullshit but I feel sorry for the groups who feel they HAVE to put on huge spectacles with fancy sets, intricate concepts, and special effects in order to get good results.
I think IKONโs performance of that Ateez song was the worst performance of the night. The song just went nowhere and the effects + set were so anticlimactic. Iโm confused as to why they ranked higher than both TBZ and SKZ.
I applaud Ateez for creating a really cool performance out of the mess that is Rhythm Ta. It was clear they were really passionate about that song lmao. Even though I donโt like their sound, their intensity (?) is unmatched. BTOB and SF9 also did really well and deserved those rankings!
