Happy Friday! Every week I check the charts for this day in the past and share the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, we are going back to the 2nd week of December, 2015. Some of the songs have been posted before, so we will see some live stages.

#3 Twice “Like Ooh Ahh”
This was their debut song, and was released about 3 months after the show “Sixteen” ended. The song would stay on the charts for months, peaking in the top ten. I don’t listen to this particular song very often, but when I do I channel the fuck out of Momo during her little dance break. I know I'm not the only one. Here is the group’s debut stage.

#2 San E & Mad Clown “Sour Grapes”
This was a non-album collaboration between the two rappers that charted and sold very well. This followed up hit collabs with other artists this year, San E with Baek Yerin’s “Me You” and Mad Clown with Jinsil “Fire”. Good year for the both of them.

#1 EXID “Hot Pink”
2015 was their big breakout year thanks to Hani’s fancam, and this would be their last single for the year. It was released as a single but included in their “Street” album the following year. I remember the “pink hot pink hot” part of the chorus, but nothing else. What the hell is going on in this MV? That hair color on Jeonghwa is nice and that’s the only nice thing I have to say about the video lol.

Honorable Mentions

#6 f(x) “4 Walls”

I think this is still my favorite f(x) song. This is the single from the group’s fourth (and final) album. It is also the first release as a four member group after Sulli left two months prior to focus on acting. The group would follow up this release with their first concert tour a few months later. Why it took them so long to get their own tour is weird to me. But then again they didn’t even get a fandom name until that tour either so wtf SM. Anyways, here’s their comeback stage at M Countdown.

#9 Lee Hong Gi “Insensible”

In 2015 he announced that not only would he making his solo debut, but would be releasing solo albums in Korea and Japan. They would be released about a month apart. “Insensible” was his debut solo single from the Korean album, “FM302”. I’m honestly surprised it took him so long to have a solo album. I’ve always really liked his voice. The MV stars actress Park Shin Hye.
