5. IDK why Mamamoo's lewk makes me laugh. It's not that they look bad, so idk why I find them comical.

In conclusion: I need more female artists because no male artist dresses up in an even remotely interesting way. My fav thing about red carpets is the outfits, and only gg's can apparently provide anything interesting on that front (because even if bb's look handsome, they just... aint interesting).

I see what you're saying, though. I didn't know the past gens very well when I got into K-pop, either. I don't think it's malicious. I do think some earlier K-pop fans (I'm a millennial so I'm including myself in this) feel "responsible" for K-pop's rising popularity with gen Z worldwide now, so on some level more than wanting those groups to get recognition WE want recognition, like "it's because we watched MVs in 720p in the back of the classroom that you're able to have 4K performance videos now" 😭 But the fans who came before us didn't have any of that, so we have to give credit to them, too.

Date: 2020-12-07 11:25 am (UTC)Most of these are boring, yawn, and even some that tried to do something just look odd and doesn't flatter them at all (that Mamamoo one with Solar(?)'s suit tucked into high boots, yikes). Some of these outfits make me think if if I were to be styled by a kpop stylist I'd be destroyed, bc they don't seem to think about what would flatter the body.
I wish GOT7 had made some funny pose in the 2nd one like some other bgs did. Also they all look the same exact height, who's cheating and how? Also Jinyoung needed his fringe half up/half down or entirely pulled back. The full fluffy fringe is so blaaah and childish, I wish kpop ditched it like yesterday.
