Once I start watching 1 old performance I can't stop and end up re-watching at least a full episode. I absolutely love the outdoor specials and this one in particular because of the line-up and the fact that they all sing live despite the strong wind, so i thought it would be fun to share with you as a little throwback. Favorite performance?

Date: 2020-05-11 07:06 pm (UTC)and i totally agree with you re: singing live! some rookie idols are giving a good try again these days but i feel like ones between 2nd gen and the new rookies these days are just never singing live
i always watch a lot of old performances and pretty much ALL idols were singing live, even the "bad" singers (i mean, lbr, they still did a fantastic job)
i feel like these days they are focusing too much on perfection and performance, in stead of actually singing. the old idols actually were acting on stage according to the song (like really making the facial expressions to go along with the lines as if they were really saying/talking about it), singing live really helped bring that out + give them charm and life
i miss those times a lot, it really were the golden days
