I really hate their bwl styling, I was hoping for something more fun/youthful to match the song vibe. everyone did well though but jimin really needs to do something about his voice :-\ it sounded decent enough during tour but he was def the most pitchy

I know it’s not much, but I do hope they take care of themselves. Fan accounts said Hoseok kept sipping water in the entire filming trying to maintain his voice because at certain points he was complaining to their manager that “no sound was coming out”. Getting flashbacks to the 2017 DNA showcases all over again.

ha, I had wondered why yesterday they wore white and the dancers wore black during Dionysos, so it was really good to see them doing it vice versa today. I like that song.
The talking version of BWL was brilliant. I don't know much about other kpop bands, so I can't help but wonder if BTS stand out in terms of such fun dorky behavior, and if that's one of the reasons they're the ones who made it so big

Well for me when i first got into kpop they stood out a lot. I am aware of that there are other groups who are talented, good singers/dancers or have better concepts/music (for some peoples taste ofcourse) but they still stood out. They bring character to the table. Both as a group and individuals. They have a special chemistry.

I think it was definitely the emphasis on behind the scenes/online content. Most if not all kpop groups have crazy dorky personalities within them, but not all of them were as accessible online to fans as BTS were.

So you mean like the Bangtan bombs? Other groups like EXO (who are apparently bigger in Asia?) don't have them?
And of course it's helped that they appear to have good personalities and get on with each other. I much prefer IKON's music, but after seeing some of their background stuff, ugh, I hate myself for liking their music
