Am I going crazy because I for sure thought BTS was nominated for Spring Day for best mv. Or was that for the MAMAs? Whatever Spring Day is an amazing song and you can run and tell that.

I do think Red Velvet should have won for Red Flavor because Knock Knock just...was not it. Palette is my favorite IU album to date. Her sound is just so great and it's nice seeing a person's music grow and develop while they do as well.

Is the award season over because i am TIRED of seeing all this mess on my timeline. Even the "sane" kpop fans are acting a mess. Like they are really taking it to capital hill over these awards. When in the end...we're all going to die anyway.

LOL idk why both ARMY and EXO-Ls are arguing over who did/didn't deserve their daesang, both should just shut up and eat they food because it should have been IU-IU-Ailee. Boy groups bring the money which is why we had the split and that's fine, award shows are for money anyways.

Anyways onto performances. I'm so happy that BTS did Spring Day and props to them for doing well loive even when they were clearly struggling to get enough air because of the choreo. The opening of kokobop with the remix sounds so good. Also note that MMA gave us more solo Xiumin than the lying shitheads at MAMA.

And come at me but Hyuna was a mess. Her styling is wack

I do not agree that IU should have won all 3 daesangs though.
For me bolbbalgan4 - soty, bts - a(r)ty.
I admit I am biased about bts, but they have blown up this year the way even their fans did not expect.


On a more important note, I enjoyed most of the performances, and I really liked that more artists were live.

I started watching it live just before Red Velvet, I liked the stages! And it wasn't so badly shot either.
I wonder if GFriend initially were to perform Summer Rain with umbrella because it fits in the choreo quite easily.
I WANT A WITCH CONCEPT FOR RED VELVET SO BADLY. Best VCR for this show.
The lights around Wanna One at the beginning of their performance made such a pretty effect!

If only Twice had a more mature styling, or even go more retro with those big dresses but I guess they went with it because they won with Knock Knock? (I love Knock Knock (yes I know) but either Sunmi or Red Velvet should have won in this category tbh).
