Due to surging Covid-19 infection rates and the first confirmed domestic cases of the Omicron variant, the South Korean Ministry of Welfare and Health has reinstated stronger social distancing and quarantine regulations. On December 2nd the government announced that starting on December 3rd, social gatherings of more than 6 people would be prohibited in Seoul, extended to 8 people in other regions of the country. Furthermore, proof of vaccination will now be necessary for entry to certain indoor facilities, including movie theaters and performance spaces. And in an effort to curb further spread of the Omicron variant, all travelers entering the country from abroad will be required to quarantine for 10 days regardless of their vaccination status. The new quarantine measures will be enforced for the next two weeks, to be reevaluated on the 16th and extended if necessary.

tvN has confirmed that there will be a second season of “Unexpected Business”!
“Unexpected Business” was a variety show starring Cha Tae Hyun and Jo In Sung as two city men who run a small supermarket in a countryside town. They shared quiet but happy memories with the residents of the local village and invited their celebrity friends to work as part-timers in the supermarket.
The new season will have the same cast and crew as the first season, including Cha Tae Hyun and Jo In Sung. The new season will take place in a new location and share heartwarming winter stories.
Producing director Yoo Ho Jin stated, “Thanks to the viewers, who showed so much love for ‘Unexpected Business,’ we were able to do a second season. In addition to the entertainment and emotions of the first season, which received so much love, we will make an even more entertaining second season. Thank you for your support.”
“Unexpected Business” season two will air sometime in the first half of 2022.
