If you're a 2nd-generation K-pop fan, you surely remember the era when Brave Brothers was one of the most prominent hitmakers for girl groups. The Brave Sound formula took countless groups to the top of the charts. And now, his self-produced girl group Brave Girls have finally found their place in the spotlight, years after almost everyone had written them off.

The rise of "Rollin'" has made me nostalgic for those bygone years of formulaic, impossibly catchy Brave hits, and I can't be the only one. So here's a little experiment: If our favorite 3rd-generation girl groups had their own Brave Sound songs, which would fit them best? This is purely based on my own opinion, so let's take it away...

"Joseon Exorcist" faces backlash for distorting history

SBS' fantasy period series "Joseon Exorcist" is facing a backlash after causing an uproar among viewers over distorting history by demonizing Taejong (1367-1422), the third king of Joseon, and using Chinese props for Joseon Kingdom settings.

The viewership rating of Tuesday's episode plunged to 6.9 percent from 8.9 percent its first episode garnered on Monday.

The corporate sponsors of the series also responded to the controversy by cutting off ties with the series and halting support.

Cho Dal-hwan happy about acting alongside EXO's Chanyeol in "The Box"

Cho Dal-hwan, who plays a down-on-his-luck music producer in the film "The Box," said he tried to express subtlety in his acting and let his fellow actor Chanyeol of EXO upstage him.

Directed by Yang Jung-woong, the musical film is a coming-of-age story of an aspiring musician (Chanyeol), who can sing only when he is behind a box. He meets once-popular music producer (Cho Dal-hwan) and busks to overcome his fear and come out from behind his box.

Cho said Chanyeol was part of the reason he chose to star in "The Box." "By the time I was cast in the film, Chanyeol was already a global music star and I've always had a desire to take part in a musical film like Begin Again or Once. I was also excited about the idea of traveling across the country and trying regional specialty dishes," he said.
