Na Haeun is most known for her cover dances on Youtube, where she has over 1 million subscribers. She also appeared at the Melon Music Awards 2017 and on Star King in the past. The 9-year old will make her official debut with the song "So Special" on the 26th. On the 24th, Haeun will be having her first stage at a fanmeeting & showcase which will be streamed live on YouTube.

In tvN’s upcoming drama Mother, a teacher discovers that one of her students is being abused at home and decides to kidnap her. Lee Bo-young plays that teacher, who cradles her student (Heo Yool) to herself in the promos. The teacher character starts out rather cold, and it’s through her efforts to save the eight-year-old Hye-na that she develops a mother-daughter bond that melts her heart.

Go Sung-hee plays Hye-na’s “unstable mother,” who has been raising the girl on her own but views her with a mix of both love and hatred. She blames the girl for her unhappiness and for standing in the way of her pursuing her own dreams, and lashes out with anger. Lee Hye-young plays a woman who was a top actress before her husband betrayed her and left her poor and alone. She moves to the countryside where she meets Lee Bo-young’s character.

"Hyori's Home Stay 2" starts next month

The second season of JTBC's popular reality TV show "Hyori's Home Stay" will premiere Feb. 4, the network said Tuesday.

For the show, the celebrity couple -- singer Lee Hyo-ri and singer-songwriter Lee Sang-soon -- turn their home on the southern resort island of Jeju into a bed and breakfast. The first season aired from June 25 to Sept. 24, with its highest viewership rating reaching 9.9 percent. Singer-songwriter IU made an appearance as an employee.

The new season focuses on the winter scenery of the island and new hire Yoona, actress and member of K-pop girl band Girls' Generation. The program's logo for the second season, unveiled Tuesday, shows Hyori's house and a Mongolian "ger," or yurt, in the front garden against the backdrop of a snowy Mount Halla.

The show will be broadcast at 8:50 p.m. every Sunday.




Hope this season is as good as the first, it's going to be hard to top.

Alex is getting married

Korean-Canadian musician Alex, 39, will marry a fashion businesswoman nine years younger this month, his agency said on Sunday.

The closed-door ceremony will be held at a recreational facility in Busan on Jan. 27 with family members and close friends. "The couple decided to have a small wedding that would be open to their family members and close friends," an agency official said.

Alex, whose Korean name is Choo Hyun-gon, made his debut in 2004 as a member of duo Clazziquai. He has also starred in various TV dramas and shows.



Thought he was still with Rainbow's Hyunyoung, but apparently they broke up last February. Wouldn't mind a new Clazziquai release, just putting that out there in the universe.

OnStyle’s beauty talk show “Get It Beauty” which launched in 2006 and gained popularity with its blind tests of makeup products, has become a standard reference for many beauty consumers.

The new season of the show is to start Friday, featuring models Jang Yoon-ju and Moon Ga-bi, Weki Meki’s Kim Do-yeon, Akdong Musician’s Lee Soo-hyun and beauty influencer Kim Soo-mi as hosts.

BTS - MIC Drop Remix Spends Its 8th Week on Billboard's Hot100 Chart

BTS’s “MIC Drop” remix has now been on Billboard’s Hot 100 for two months!

On January 23, Billboard released its charts for the week ending in January 27. BTS’s “MIC Drop” remix (produced by Steve Aoki and featuring rapper Desiigner) remains on the Hot 100 chart, which ranks the most popular songs in the United States. It’s spending its eighth week on the chart, this time at No. 79.

As “MIC Drop” broke BTS’s previous record among K-pop groups of four weeks on the chart with “DNA,” they’ve continued to set a new record with each additional week on the chart. The new record for K-pop group tracks is therefore now eight weeks!

While the remix shows continued strength on the Hot 100, BTS’s latest mini album “Love Yourself: Her” is also showing impressive longevity on the Billboard 200 chart, which reveals which albums are the most popular in the United States each week. “Love Yourself: Her” is in the No. 82 spot this week, after being at No. 75 last week.

“Love Yourself: Her” is also still at No. 1 on the World Albums chart, now in its 18th week overall on the chart. Their album “Wings” is at No. 4 while “You Never Walk Alone” comes in at No. 6.

More chart appearances by BTS this week include “Love Yourself: Her” at No. 46 on the Canadian Albums chart and the “MIC Drop” remix at No. 74 on the Canadian Hot 100 chart.

BTS remains at No. 1 on the Social 50 chart, and has risen to No. 11 on the Artist 100 chart from No. 19 last week.
