Happy Friday! I'm a little late, but I just got home. I am so ready for this week to be done, I’m so over everything. Some asshole crashed his car into mine, and then sped off…and that still wasn’t the worst thing that happened to me this week. Hope you had a better week than I did. Every Friday I look through the charts in the past and post the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. Holy crap this is already 3 years old?!? I remember liking that tub and faucet lol. You know when you’re watching Sketchbook and the audience is just sitting there swaying side to side with their arms raised? But not all the way raised up, just like halfway up, with the elbows bent kind of arms raised. This is the kind of song they would sway like that too.

Growing up in a largely homogeneous society, Han, who is half Nigerian, half Korean, was often made to feel ashamed of his appearance. “There are so many prejudices about darker skinned people in South Korea,” he tells TIME. “When I was in kindergarten, some of the mothers in the playground would tell my friends, ‘Don’t play with him. If you play with him, you will become darker too.’” But Han, who was discovered on Instagram, is now one of the country’s most sought-after fashion models; he’s a fixture in local magazines and walked in 20 shows during the recent Seoul Fashion Week. Although he has faced discrimination—he was denied several early castings because of his skin color—Han says he hopes his rising profile will help make South Korea’s beauty standards more inclusive. “My dream is now a reality,” he tells TIME, “and I want those like me to feel they can achieve the same.”

Man Murders Girlfriend After Being Released From Jail For Killing Wife

A man who was released early from a prison sentence for the murder of his wife has received a life sentence for killing his girlfriend.

The man, 56, was first sentenced to life in prison 28 years ago for killing his wife in 1989. In 2000, his prison sentence was reduced to 20 years and he was released seven years later, having spent 18 years behind bars.

Contract stuff

The Unit's final winning teams have the chance to have their contracts extended to a maximum of 25 months. IF the groups receive lots of love, 12 MORE months can be added, so 25 total. KBS can request for 45 day promotion lengths in that span. Many of the agencies who sent idols to The Unit have already signed this contract, but they don't necessarily agree with its terms.
