Sonamoo's Newsun joins cast of Criminal Minds

Sonamoo’s maknae, NewSun will make her full acting debut in the Korean version of “Criminal Minds”.

On the set of tvN’s upcoming Wed-Thurs drama, NewSun underwent a 180-degree transformation into Choi Na-young, the loving junior of NCI crime scene investigator Kim Hyun-Joon (played by Lee Joon-Gi). According to the production team, NewSun clinched the role out of over a hundred candidates and showed great positivity in handling her first serious acting role as a student from a women’s university.

tvN’s “Criminal Minds” is the Korean version of a 13-year old American crime drama of the same title, which depicts the solving of serial crimes using psychological profiling techniques. NewSun will be featured alongside a star-studded line up which includes Son Hyun-Joo, Lee Joon-Gi, Moon Chae0Won, Lee Sun-Bin, Go Yoon and Yoo Sun.

NewSun has once played the role of a girl group leader in web drama “The Miracle”. She has been progressing steadily in her career while playing the role of one of Sonamoo’s rappers and contributing to the production of her group’s albums.

We look forward to witnessing NewSun’s acting chops when the drama debuts on 26 July, 10:50 KST

Drama News Round Up - We Finally Have Andante News!

Happy weekend, Omona! After months of no info and numerous comments asking about Kai's KBS drama, Andante, we finally have word on when it's airing. Check out the post below for the answer. (Shameless tactic to get you to click on my post? Most definitely.)

This week marked the ending of four dramas (Fight My Way, Lookout, Suspicious Partner and Ruler: Master of the Mask), which means we have another week full of premieres. On Monday, School 2017 premieres on KBS and The King Loves on MBC. Man Who Dies to Live takes over the Wednesday slot for MBC, with Reunited Worlds airing on SBS the same day. My Sassy Girl airs its last episodes this week.

Today (July 14th) Soshi were spotted at Gimpo International Airport on their way to SMTown Osaka. Some of the girls revealed new hairstyles for their upcoming comeback! Sooyung on the other hand almost missed the flight because she forgot her passport at home. #fail Thankfully her manager managed to get her passport just in time. Seohyun took a different flight so she's not in the pictures.
