'I Saw The Devil' set for American remake

Kim Jee-woon's suspense thriller I Saw the Devil 악마를 보았다 (2010) is set for an English-language remake.

According to the video blog by producer Adi Shankar, writer Simon Barrett and director Adam Wingard have signed on to develop the remake. The writer-director pair has worked together on five films, including home invasion horror You're Next (2011) and forthcoming thriller The Guest.

In addition to Shankar, the film will be co-produced by Snoot Entertainment, who also produced The Guest.

The original I Saw the Devil starred Lee Byeong-heon as an intelligence service agent who takes revenge on his fiancé's killer, played by Choi Min-shik, by hunting him down and torturing him.

Two years ago, Shankar was briefly attached to Park Chan-wook's English-language thriller Corsica 77, a crime drama set in the 1930s.

Moving in to the Roommates house, Girls’ Generation’s Sunny and veteran actress Bae Jong Ok found out they will be sharing a room together.

SBS’ Roommates season 2 revealed on September 18 that Sunny and Bae Jong Ok will be roommates.

With Bae Jong Ok born in 1964 and Sunny in 1989, the two share a 25-year age difference, similar to Shin Sung Woo and EXO’s Chanyeol, before the two moved out of Roommates. rip

However, despite the difference in age and occupation, Sunny and Bae Jong Ok are said to have gotten along at the first meeting, overcoming the generation gap.

The new season of Roommates begins on September 21.

Following Sunny and Bae Jong Ok, SBS’ Roommates announced that Lee Guk Joo, After School’s Nana, and Kara’s Young Ji will be sharing a room together.

The new roommate arrangement was revealed on September 19, after revealing the g.o.d’s Park Joon Hyung-Otani Ryohei, and Bae Jong Ok-Sunny pairings previously.

With Hong Soo Hyun exited from the program, Nana will be moving into the triple room with currently popular comedienne Lee Guk Joo, and the new Kara member, Young Ji. As the three carry different personality and charms, viewers are wondering how the three ladies will interact with each other.

The new season of Roommates will begin on September 21.

TS Entertainment has revealed that SECRET’s Jieun will be making a comeback after the group ends their promotions for “I’m In Love”

The group is currently promoting their title track, “I’m In Love”, and will be ending them soon. Upon completion, member Jieun will making a solo comeback.

TS Entertainment revealed that her comeback will portray a love story where one breaks social barriers. The concept will be much darker and more powerful than her previous tracks, which were softer.

Jieun began solo activities with her debut single, “Yesterday”, and participated in numerous OSTs. She achieved #1 single charts on Gaon Charts with her second single, “Going Crazy” featuring B.A.P member Bang Yong Guk (then a trainee).

Tickets to B1A4′s upcoming two day concert 2014 B1A4 Road Trip to Seoul – Ready? has sold out in just one day.

The concert, taking place on November 15 and 16, started selling tickets on September 17, ranking second in ticket sales following first generation idol group g.o.d, which started selling tickets the day before.

B1A4’s concert has been gathering popularity for presenting dynamic stage set ups, distinct concepts and various booths set up for the fans.

The family zone tickets to B1A4’s were sold out in just one minute as well. The family zone has specially prepared seats for the entire family to enjoy B1A4’s concert, and the tickets were purchased by fans of various age groups, from teenagers to those in their 50s.

On September 19, Cube Entertainment revealed via their Twitter account that male idol group BTOB will be holding their first official concert in Korea in a little over a month!

Respectfully titled “Hello, Melody,” BTOB will be performing a 2-day concert on October 31 and November 1st at the Olympic Hall.

Ailee Releases Teaser Photos for Upcoming “Magazine” Comeback, Makes Complete Style Transformation

Singer Ailee’s agency, YMC Entertainment, has recently shared more detailed information about her upcoming comeback.

On September 18, YMC Entertainment revealed, “Ailee will be showcasing a more powerful song and performance through the British-pop style rock title song called ‘Don’t Touch’ (tentative English title) from her third mini album ‘Magazine.’”

Earlier, on September 16, Ailee had unveiled a few teaser images with a pierrot concept, officially announcing her return with a new mini album.

In these newly-released teaser photos, she can be seen showing off a complete style transformation, especially with her short hairstyle. Also, she is dressed in a crop top and tight black pants that emphasize the results of Ailee’s successful diet, during which she was able to achieve a slimmer body line and face shape.

Meanwhile, Ailee’s brand new mini album “Magazine” is set to be released on September 25, which is also the same day as the comeback showcase she will be holding for her fans.
