Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon Says She Finds EXO Members Luhan, Sehun and Tao To Be Good-looking

Girls’ Generation and TaeTiSeo member Taeyeon recently drew attention for praising EXO members Luhan, Tao,and Sehun.

On December 30, Taeyeon shared a group photo along with the caption, “They’re good-looking and amazing guys.”

Taeyeon along with members Tiffany and Seohyun (forming TaeTiSeo) performed Beyonce’s hit “Crazy in Love” with EXO’s Chanyeol, Lei, Tao, Luhan, and Sehun at “2013 SBS Gayo Daejun.” Previously, TaeTiSeo also performed Jennifer Lopez‘s “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love Again” with EXO at the MBC’s ”Korean Music Wave in Seoul” concert.

Netizens commented, “I’m so jealous of Taeyeon, TaeTiSeo and EXO,” “I wonder why they decided to upload the black-and-white photo?” and “EXO and Taeyeon seem to be pretty close.”

Emergency Man and Woman - posters and new teasers (subbed)

New posters have been released for tvN‘s upcoming drama “Emergency Man and Woman.” The poster shows a sexy, but angry Song Ji Hyo straddling Choi Jin Hyuk in what seems to be the emergency room. While Song Ji Hyo is choking Choi Jin Hyuk, she is also getting her hair pulled by the actor. The image makes sense, as the two play a bitter couple who were previously married and had gotten a divorce. The poster also has the statement “Married because they were crazy, divorced when they became sane.”

tvN’s “Emergency Man and Woman” will premiere on January 24 at 8:40pm (KST). It will take over the time slot that was occupied by “Reply 1994.” The cast has already started practicing their scripts, and a teaser has also been released.

MANILA, Philippines—While international K-pop fans in other parts of the world awaited the yearend specials of big Korean networks, Filipino K-pop fans donned their best K-pop paraphernalia and Korean-inspired fashion outfit on a bright Saturday for the most awaited annual K-pop event in Manila.

On Dec. 28, 2013, K-pop fans from all walks of life flocked early to the SM Mall of Asia SMX Convention Halls 1 and 2, to take a chance at the first-come, first-served selling of limited General Admission and Booths Only tickets. All they wanted was to get the best view in the General Admission area for the concert part of the event. Other fans just wanted to be the first to enter the other venue, where K-pop items were on sale, lest others before them gobble up the choice merchandise.

The Philippine K-pop Convention was in its fifth successful year, this time even grander. As the organizer, the Philippine K-pop Committee Inc. (PKCI) teamed up with PULP Live World, one of the country’s largest concert producers, which has brought K-pop superstars like Super Junior and 2ne1 to the Philippine stage.

In fact, the two characters, Goo Joon Pyo and Kim Tan, were both high school students and sons of millionaires, which could have yielded to the criticism, "Actor Lee Min Ho can only perform one type of role."

"Because that scene was a result of the two's strong emotions for each other, I had to kiss her for real. I felt bad that I did not let her know about the kiss in advance. Usually, I talk about these things with the actresses, but this must have come to Shin Hye as a surprising one, ecause it was a sudden, fiery kiss."

Princess Suzy criticised for her acceptance speech

Miss A’s Suzy, who this year starred in the MBC drama “Gu Family Book,” is receiving some harsh criticism for her behaviour during the 2013 MBC Drama Awards, especially while she was giving her acceptance speech for her Female High Excellence in Mini-series Award.

On this day, Suzy seemed to have lost her words during her acceeptance speech, and she is being especially criticized for having been distracted, unfocused, and for being too indifferent towards accepting her prize which brought unanimous criticism from both the audience and viewers.

A fan would normally swoon about her favorites alone in front of the computer screen or a poster. But events like the Philippine KPop Convention are fan havens where you can ogle, swoon and even dress up like your favorite idol without being judged.

What’s better is that at events like these, fans are able to give back to the less fortunate while having a good time. Held at the SMX Convention Center last Saturday, KPopCon divided the venue into two stages—one by the fans and the other for the fans.

T-ara's Little Maiden Boram "Sexy Shadow" Jeon cast as lead role in "The Lost Garden"

T-ara member Jeon Boram was cast as the lead female character in the musical "The Lost Garden".

The musical will begin on January 17th, 2014 and is the story of what happens when walls come down and hearts open. The setting is a beautiful garden that is guarded by an angry giant. Boram will be able to showcase her vocals in her solos "Wondrous Dream" and "The Lost Garden".

Boram said, "I will try my best to express the pure genuineness of Mercy. Right now I am clearing out my mind and calming myself so I can execute my role to the best of my ability."

The musical premiered in Shanghai on June 8th and 9th and then made it's way overseas. The musical is based on "The Selfish Giant" by Oscar Wilde and tells a story about love, friendship and happiness.

Singer Kim Taewoo of g.o.d will play the lead male role in the musical.
