T-ara's Qri donned a new look with her shortly trimmed hair.

On August 16th, Core Contents Media shared pictures of T-ara's new leader flaunting her brand new image.

She captured the fans' attention with her big, round eyes and cute expressions.

After viewing the updates, the fans commented, "Is she a doll or a human?", "Qri is getting prettier by the day", "I want to cut my hair too after seeing this picture", and "Unrealistic beauty."

Meanwhile, T-ara successfully completed their recent solo concert in Hong Kong and placed first on the Oricon Charts with their second Japanese album, 'Treasure Box.'

Did you know that 2NE1's Minzy and f(x)'s Luna were close friends?

Minzy had previously thanked Luna in the "thanks-to" part of a 2NE1 album for being a great friend, but for fans who didn't know they were close, Minzy wished Luna a belated happy birthday on her Twitter! She wrote, "Cutie Luna ^^ It's late, but happy birthday~~" (Luna's birthday is actually on August 12).

Luna also wrote on her me2day, "Our cutie Minzy and her mother gave me cute earrings and a surprise birthday party..^^ She's got a beautiful heart, and we understand each other*~ Hehe, Minzy, thanks!! Let's meet often to talk~".

It's great to see these two young stars be close friends.

Shinhwa “Running Man” appearance…appearing on SBS after 1 year 8 months

Group Shinhwa will be appearing in SBS’s “Good Sunday - Running Man”.

On the 18th, according to various broadcast representatives, Shinhwa is about to film for next week’s “Good Sunday - Running Man” and this episode is expected to air on the 25th. Apart from Kim Dongwan, who is currently on a holiday in New Zealand, Eric, Lee Minwoo, Shin Hyesung, Junjin and Andy will participate in the filming.

After 3 years and 7 months you've returned to the entertainment world. What did you do during that period of time?

[Sunmi] For the first half of 2010, I returned to Pohang and took the High School GED test, preparing the fundamentals needed to entering University. After studying hard, I was admitted to Dongguk University School of Drama's 11th batch as a freshman. I also made friends with other university students and hung out a lot with them as well. During middle and high school, I wasn't able to spend much time in school so when I entered university, I was able to look at things objectively and also ponder about the things that insufficient. Right now I'm on a temporary absence from school.

North Korea's Kim tries new tack with defectors - being nice

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is taking a new approach to defectors who have fled his impoverished and repressive state, promising they will not be harmed if they come home, and even offering cash rewards, according to some in the exile community.

For some who return from South Korea there's even the chance of a stage-managed performance on state television, although what happens to them after their prime time appearances is not known in a state where 200,000 people are imprisoned in gulags and where punishment extends to three generations of a family.

One woman last year apologized at a televised press conference in Pyongyang for betraying her motherland and thanked Kim for bringing her under his "profound loving care" while another dubbed South Korea a "shitty world with no love".

That's in sharp contrast to the approach taken by Kim's father, who during nearly 20 years in power hid the issue and severely punished the families of those who defected, fearing they would undermine the state with their tales of the prosperous South.

I don't know, I thought I would be more broken up over his enlistment but I am just incredibly happy to see him leave at such a good moment in his career. It has been wonderful seeing him grow these past four years and I am really proud of everything he has achieved. I can't wait to see (;D) what he has to offer after his military service!
