Seungri: ”Congratulations to the 7th anniversary. BIGBANG forever! Today, August 19th 2013 is BIGBANG's 7th anniversary. There were so many things that happened in 7 years. I think all the things that happened to BIGBANG throughout those 7 years made the current BIGBANG. I'm writing this to say thank you and I love you to our fans who have been together with us until now, before I sleep. Before I posted this, I called our members and we congratulated each other and promised to keep up in the future. As the youngest from the team, I am telling you guys how glad we are from my heart and our members' hearts. My new songs that will be released 12 hours later will be a very memorable release for BIGBANG's 7th anniversary. I'll be imagining your happy faces and I'm gonna go now ^^

Let's have a dynamic post! So tell me, how did you discover Big Bang?
For me, the first time I ever had contact with anything Big Bang releated was accidental tbh. I used to spend a lot of time on gawker/jezebel and they had a post about the EMA's red carpet and Big Bang were there and then people started posting GD/BB vids in the comments and I actually played Love Song and the minute I heard TOP's voice I was like "omg this man is mine!!!" but then for some reason I forgot about them and didn't check them out until a tumblr friend kept pestering me so I'd listen to them and she linked me to Beautiful Hangover and Love Song and I was like "omg I know these guys!" and yeah :D

Date: 2013-08-19 04:41 am (UTC)So here's my story. I was watching ABDC in 2009 and was looking stuff on Quest Crew, which lead me to another site I think Ningin. I think they did some backstage interview with QC and/or took photos. They had a banner on the top of their site for BoA's English Album. So I watched BoA's English mvs. Funny thing is I didn't dig deep into BoA's stuff past her English songs at the time and I don't know why I didn't, but that's not important for this post.
Anyway I was wathing one of her English mvs and people were arguing about Big Bang in the comments. I was like who is BB? Searched BB and I also found out about 2NE1. Watched Lollipop and Fire, since 2NE1 was debuting that weekend. Then, probably started watching Taeyang's solo stuff and their Japanese promos at the time. Man I was into Taeyang in 2009-2010. He was my 1st bias in the group. I'm semi curious to see what he does for his next album. After listening to his feature on Seungri's album, I'm even more interested on how his solo is gonna be and I saw Lyle tweet about seeing Tae so hopefully he worked on/will work on some choreo so Tae can stop doing the dougie lol.
