I'm not sure about that, but I feel that from artistic point of view Big Bang needs something different and more fresh sounding (while Alive was a nice album it lacked some of excitement Big Bang's older releases, 'till Remember album had).

Yeah, the EPs through Remember was an amazing time. I don't know if they can get back there or if they should even try to get back there, because those songs were all about depression, mania, codependency, drama... experiencing all these intense emotions for the first time and capturing those feelings in music. It's kind of better not to go back, probably, but it does leave a bit of a void. I wouldn't mind if Big Bang stayed as the safe, commercial space and they used the solo albums for sonic exploration, which is what has kind of been happening since Remember.
