'Monstar' drama staff accused of sexually assaulting three extras

A drama manager of a cable drama is being accused of sexually assaulting three drama extras (two minors). A (21) filed the report and claimed that he 'B' (33) called her out and groped her chest and behind as well as ask her toget on all fours in her school uniform skirt while he stood behind and watched.

He also allegedly asked two other high school extras to kiss him on the lips and groped them as well as punishment for catching them smoking. A claimed that the drama producer and her agency did not do anything about it, and A quit the drama herself.

In an interview, B denied all claims, saying, "I only reprimanded the extras in question for smoking. I wiped their butt off once because there was dust on it. I can't help it if they felt uncomfortable with that. It's absolutely not true that I groped their chest and butt. Everything will be revealed through police investigations."

The controversy is growing because this comes just after in 2009, when a woman in her thirties commit suicide after being sexually assaulted by a drama company staff when she was working as an extra.

Former EXID members to join new girl group BESTie

YNB Entertainment (D-Unit’s agency) will soon be debuting its new girl group called, BESTie. The group consists of three former members of EXID, Yuji (UJi), Dami (Hyeyeon) and Haeryung, along with another member Song Dahye.

The three former EXID members left the group last year after “Who’z That Girl” promotions to pursue college and acting career. However, all three left the company later the year and joined YNB Entertainment.

They are currently training as a part of the 4-member girl group, BESTie, which will make its debut this July.

It's actually happened, one of Korea's favorite actors Won Bin has been actually swept up in a dating scandal. This is quite a surprise as he is known to be extremely private and hardly anything is known about his private life. According to 'Dispatch', the actor's love interest is none other than actress Lee Na Young.

The two were extremely careful, according to the media outlet, but nevertheless they were unable to escape the keen eye of the reporters who apparently spotted them on several dates over the course of a month.

According to Dispatch, Won Bin and Lee Na Young were caught at the same location 8 times over the month and their dates were often of 1-night-2-days in length.

Clinton Lau still has difficulty wrapping his mind around the fact that his younger brother, a former Torontonian, is a celebrity overseas.

“He has fans following him 24 hours a day, they take shifts and follow him in taxis,” he says, disbelief in his voice.

Twenty-four-year-old Henry Lau was plucked from his Willowdale home a few years back and has since been made into one of Asia’s biggest K-Pop sensations, playing the violin in Super Junior-M, a Korean boy band signed with Korean label S.M. Entertainment.

K-Pop, a genre of dance music that fuses sugar pop, EDM, and American hip hop and R&B, is South Korea’s hottest cultural export. The country’s top three labels earned a record $160 million in 2011 by reaching beyond their own borders.

Se7en’s contract with YG Entertainment ended April 2013!

Now some of you have been wondering why YG Entertainment is remaining quiet throughout this Se7en scandal.

For one, they’re not obligated to (not anymore at least). And let’s say (if) they still were (obligated to) the minute Se7en entered the army, as a citizen of Korea (Choi Dong Wook) would be under the military’s jurisdiction and not YG Entertainment’s.

Se7en, who first debuted in 2003, signed with a 5 year contract ending in 2008. He then renewed his contract for another 3 years, which ended in 2011.

In April 2011, Se7en announced that he will only be signing a 2 year contract with the agency which was “set ablaze the last moment of his youth with YG before he enters the military.”

Choi Dong Wook aka Se7en officially entered the army on March 19, 2013. His 2 year contract with YG Entertainment expired shortly after (April 2013).

In the light of his current military scandal, YG Entertainment officials were asked if Se7en would still be renewed of his contract when he returns from the military, “We don’t know" was the only response given by a YG Representative. The agency dismissed any other questions asked by the media outlets regarding their former artist.

Choi Dong Wook is currently a member of the Defense Media Agency unit of the Korean Military.

Soheesus to star in KBS' 'Drama Special 2013 - Rose Day

Wonder Girls' Sohee will be meeting viewers on KBS2TV's 'Drama Special 2013'.

A KBS rep revealed on the 2nd, "Following 'Adolescence Medley', Sohee will be appearing in 'Rose Day', which is a project about a girl in her early 20s who works at a flower shop."

The special drama is being produced by PD Kim Young Jo, who has also worked on 'Cinderella's Sister' and 'Hong Gil Dong'. 'Rose Day' will be Sohee's first lead role as well.

The drama is scheduled to air this August!
