YNB Entertainment (D-Unit’s agency) will soon be debuting its new girl group called, BESTie. The group consists of three former members of EXID, Yuji (UJi), Dami (Hyeyeon) and Haeryung, along with another member Song Dahye.
The three former EXID members left the group last year after “Who’z That Girl” promotions to pursue college and acting career. However, all three left the company later the year and joined YNB Entertainment.
They are currently training as a part of the 4-member girl group, BESTie, which will make its debut this July. source: dkpopnews lol at them using the education excuse to switch, too bad since every night was the best kpop song of 2k12 but w/e ill prob like them since i love d-unit also that name is terrible but how many good names do we have at this point
Man, Yuji's been in so many companies. JYP (*sigh* What could've been with Jieun and Hyorin...) and the company with EXID and now this company...She's got a great voice, though, so I'm glad she's sticking around in the music industry.
she's actually reminding me a lot of jiwon in that sense (how jiwon was with good/five girls, then ccm/t-ara, and now b2m/spica) so i really hope this is another 'third time's the charm' situation and this group really gets her there
lol i think the name is cute tbh.... Kind of funny they abandoned their group right before they got good but maybe it was because of that. Either way Yuji & Dami are really good vocalists so hopefully Dahye is good for something as well.
anyway, good luck to them. i miss dami!!! but they've got it tough. exid only got better when they left and starting out from 0 again when you're switching teams never seems like a good idea... but we'll see!
