Two Months' Kim Ye Rim/Lim Kim releases MV for pre-release track "COLORRING"

Two Months' Kim Ye Rim is kicking off her solo debut with the pre-release of a song called "COLORRING"!

This track serves to give you just a taste of what to come as her mini album will follow in mid-June.

In order to differentiate between her activities as a Two Months member versus her solo promotions, Kim Ye Rim has decided to reveal her upcoming songs under the stage name of 'Lim Kim', which is the name she used in the States.

The singer will be taking steps as a solo artist before the duo's debut as member Do Dae Yoon is currently taking time off to finish up school.

Yedang Entertainment's Chairman Byun Doo Sub passes away

Yedang Entertainment's chairman Byun Doo Sub (54) passed away on the 4th with the cause of death thought to be exhaustion.

Yedang Entertainment broke the news on the stating, "Chairman Byun Doo Sub passed away this morning while he was working in his office due to overworking. His body was transported to the Gangnam St. Mary's Hospital, and after determining the exact cause of death, the body will be put to rest later today."

Byun Doo Sub was known as the husband of singer Yang Soo Kyung and used his experience as a DJ and manager to eventually start his own agency, Yedang Entertainment. Yedang Entertainment currently boasts talented artists includingAli and C-CLOWN.

May he rest in peace. Our hearts go out to all his loved ones and friends affected by this unfortunate passing.

New generation of defectors expose North Korean abuses

From the streets of Seoul to the European parliament, a new generation of North Korean defectors is stepping into the limelight, telling their personal stories to highlight the human rights abuses in their homeland.

It's a major change for the defector community, especially in South Korea, where for years they lived on the margins of society. Most did menial jobs and kept quiet, avoiding attention for fear of being labeled a "Red" or a "Sympathiser with the North".

Not any more.

"I plan to speak out as much as possible," said Hyeonseo Lee, who on a recent Friday evening addressed a street rally in Seoul for an event called North Korea Freedom Week.

Lee, 33, wowed the audience at this year's TED Conference, an international forum for people to promote their ideas. At the February gathering in Long Beach, California, Lee gave a harrowing account of life in North Korea and her eventual escape to South Korea via China, where she spent years in hiding.

Taecyeon and Chansung to guest on Running Man

2PM's Taecyeon and Chansung will show why they're the 'beastly idols' in the K-pop scene by putting their strengths to the test as the next guests on SBS' 'Running Man'!

According to a representative, Taecyeon and Chansung showed off their athleticism on the June 3rd recording of 'Running Man'. Although the members came back from Japan on the same day, right before filming, the boys didn't show an ounce of jetlag as they powered through each mission.

The representative commented, "In this filming, two members of 2PM along with martial arts director Jung Doo Hong and fellow martial arts athletes featured as guests. As you can already anticipate from this lineup of guests, the concept of the episode is a challenge of power and will be an exciting battle."

Lee Jong Suk holds fan meeting in Taiwan with 600 fans

Lee Jong Suk recently held his first-ever fan meeting in Taiwan, where he interacted with 600 of his fans and had a wonderful time overall.

For his 2 hours long fan meeting, Lee Jong Suk had prepared in earnest with lots of plans and meetings planned beforehand. During the fan meeting, Lee Jong Suk sang songs like Yurisangja’s ‘Can I Love You’, ‘Friends’, and also presented fans with a chance to win items that he had brought along with him like the sun glasses and film script of ‘Korea’, the sneakers he wore in KBS 2TV drama ‘School 2013’, and the sleeveless t-shirt he wore during rehearsals.

After the conclusion of the fan meeting, Lee Jong Suk showed his friendliness as he shook hands and hugged all 600 fans. This was Lee Jong Suk’s first fan meeting in Taiwan, but he received much attention from the local media, with television programs and magazines all vying with one another to interview him. The competition between the various media agencies also ascertained the high popularity of Lee Jong Suk in Taiwan.

Lee Jong Suk said, “This is my first time in Taiwan, and also my first time interacting with fans in Taiwan. I am really grateful for all the attention during my visit, and I will continue to work hard to repay everyone for their support with good productions.”

The following day after his fan meeting, Lee Jong Suk returned to Korea where he will resume filming for his upcoming SBS TV drama ‘I Can Hear Your Voice’. He plays the role of Soo Ha who has the special ability to read people’s minds. The drama will begin airing from June 5th at 10PM (KST).

Lee Jong Suk revealed 4-cut ‘cute’ sets while filming for SBS drama “I Hear Your Voice.”

Lee Jong Suk, who is playing the main character role of Park Soo Ha in the drama, who reads people’s minds, revealed several pictures while filming for the drama.

In the revealed pictures, Lee Jong Suk either held up a V with his fingers at the camera or made other funny facial expressions, bringing smiles to all who saw the picture.

It has also been revealed that Lee Jong Suk has great friendliness and ability to get comfortable with whoever he was acting with, including student actors.

One representative said, “Lee Jong Suk is always bright while filming, bringing up the moods of all staff members as well. But as soon as filming starts, he goes into serious acting mode with impressive concentration.”

This drama will start airing on June 5.

Ha Jung-woo’s new thriller The Terror Live

Is it just me, or does Ha Jung-woo (The Berlin File) come out with a new movie every time I blink? Not that I’m complaining, of course. He’s got a new thriller due out this summer called The Terror Live, also going by 90 Minutes of Terror, about a radio news anchor who gets a call from a terrorist seconds before he blows up a bridge on the Han River. The anchor assumes it’s a prank call and nonchalantly tells him to go ahead and blow it up, and while he’s still on the line, the guy sets off the explosion.
