SNSD Performs ‘Oh!’, ‘MR. TAXI’, and ‘All My Love Is For You’ on ‘Music Lovers’

On October 8th, Girls’ Generation appeared on Nippon TV’s “Music Lovers” for an interview and performances of “Oh!”, “MR. TAXI”, and “All My Love Is For You” as part of promotions for their latest single in Japan.

The show began with the members first appearing in blue and white cheerleader outfits for “Oh!”, the title track of their fifth single. This fun and energetic performance was accompanied by cheers and fanchants from the audience.

Girls’ Generation then changed into new black and white outfits and sat down for a brief interview in which the members were asked to say one thing about another member. Taeyeon complimented Jessica’s free spirit, Sooyoung brought up Yoona’s beauty, Jessica described Tiffany’s voice, and Yoona spoke of Sunny’s cuteness after Sunny gave an example of her infamous aegyo, which caused MC Imada Koji, a fan of Girls’ Generation, to fall on the floor in happiness.

Afterwards, the members sang “MR. TAXI” from their third Japanese single and gave a beautiful live performance of “All My Love Is For You”, the second track from their “Oh!” single.

     Though it has only been half a year since they started, people are calling it the right way to do a real(ity) variety programme. The programme in question, is jTBC’s ‘Shinhwa Broadcast’ – aired every Saturday night and helmed by the 14-year idol group Shinhwa. Why is it the right example of a real(ity) variety programme? Because the members naturally know one another inside out, and the quality of the programme becomes different with how much the production team understands the cast. Has there been any successful programme where the production team and the cast don’t work closely together? It goes without saying that 14 years is not a short period of time. In showbiz, where it’s even more dangerous than the jungle, the team has been together without swapping out anyone, and just by exchanging glances and expressions the members know everything, isn’t this exactly the kind of relationship they have?

Last I heard they were still saying 30 episodes, but as that number approached with no sign of slowing I started to get hopeful, so this interview was really awesome! Both Shinhwa and the JTBC staff are doing a great job on this show, and I really hope they continue for a good long time. Saturday without ShinBang would be pretty sad at this point. XD

miss A has been hinting at an October comeback in recent interviews and it looks like we may finally have a date.

miss A’s Fei and Suzy are scheduled to appear on the upcoming episode of SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘. In preview photos released on Strong Heart’s homepage, a capture of the placard next to miss A’s Fei reads, “10/15 miss A comeback“. Although it’s slightly cut off, it looks like the second part of the placard reads “Hope it’s Daebak [~amazing]“.

As expected, miss A fans are ecstatic about the impending comeback and looking forward to the quartet’s return to music shows.

while say a's have been in the look out for the comeback and already knew when it would happen since aqe released miss a's october calendar with the tips, the more casual fans of miss a would not be as aware, especially since it was never 'confirmed'. the comeback is on the 15th while the first teaser is supposed to come out today (the 8th). that if aqe plays by the calendar and decided to not troll us.

Davichi leaves Core Contents Media to join a new company

Davichi has announced that they will be parting ways with their management agency, Core Contents Media.

The girls recently decided to leave Core Contents Media to join a new agency founded by their two longtime managers, Kwon Chang Hyun and Lee Eung Yong. Former Core Contents Media labelmate Hong Jin Young has also decided to join the company alongside Davichi.

Although Davichi has been long considered one of the best productions of CEO Kim Kwang Soo, the girls have worked with their two managers for just as long, who have stuck by them through thick and thin. Now that Davichi is leaving the arms of Kim Kwang Soo, the industry is looking curiously as to what direction they’ll take.

This is not to be confused with Gang Kiz being transferred from Core Contents Media to their subsidiary, GM Contents. Davichi and their two managers have completely left Core Contents Media to stand on their own. Fans should expect detailed information coming from the company soon.

One official of Core Contents Media stated, “Although Davichi is leaving the company, we hope that they will maintain friendly competition with us and continue to grow as great artists.”

On rumors of the duo leaving the company due to the controversy surrounding T-ara, the official stated, “It is not true.”

CSJH The Grace's Stephanie releases "GAME" music video!

With the help of producer Kim Changhwan, CSJH The Grace's Stephanie has made her solo debut with her first digital single "The New Beginning" on October 8th!

Kim Changhwan is a well-known producer for having created many hit 90s track sung by Kim Gunmo, Park Minkyung, CLON and Shin Seunghoon. "GAME" was created by Kim Changhwan, who also wrote the single's 2nd track, "Dance."

"GAME" will showcase Stephanie's powerful dance and charm. The track also has a powerful blend of funky rhythms and electronic sounds.

Along with the release of her digital single, the full music video of her title track "GAME" was released, which gives fans an insight into her powerful choreography!

I don't know why but Yeon Seo kinda irks me a little bit in this episode. I think that she is taking this show more seriously than she should. It's as if she's thinking that Joon is really her man. The look in her eyes when Sunhwa flirt with Joon are scary o_o
