Back on May 25th, 2PM‘s Taecyeon tweeted, “Hello everyone, how did you like the songs that I wrote? ‘Kiss‘ and ‘After you Left Me‘?? ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I sang my first songs that I wrote on stage for the very first time. As I promised, I will upload them on the official cafe if these songs aren’t released as a digital single or on an album.”

He performed the track “After You Left Me” at the Six Beautiful Days concert in Japan and it was captured on fancam. It seems the song has a feature from Wonder Girls member Yenny and he performed the track admirably even though his arm was in a cast.

Fans who saw the video commented, “You’re So Cool“, “I Love You Taecyeon“, and “This song is awesome“.

Here's another fancam [w/ youtube link] with slightly better quality not included in the article, but the uploader doesn't allow it to be taken out of her site. And if anyone is interested, you can find a fancam of his other self-composed track, "Kiss" here, but you need an account on her site. :'D PROUD OF MY OPPA. Also, it just kills me to see him still performing in that cast ;____;

[12.05.28] Eric’s Facebook Update #1: "You made my day"

Just a while ago I met a pretty flight attendant on the plane. I have a bit of a cold so I asked for some ginseng tea and I said to Dongwan, “Isn’t that flight attendant pretty?”. When we landed, she said she was a Shinhwa fan and she even came to our dorm at Jinheung Villa before… I know our fans have all reached the age when they enter society and start working but now that I’ve actually encountered an example, I’m feeling amazed and proud. If this dork ever learned how to make his own screencaps, he would probably spend days at a time just trolling the members and sending them embarrassing pictures of themselves :P

On May 21, Shojojidai, Kara, Tohoshinki, Super Junior and other K-POP artists held a concert in coordination with Google, in part of their advancement into the global market.

In addition to those mentioned, artists like Wonder Girls, MBLAQ, SISTAR, BEAST and f(x) joined as well, totaling 9 groups. The concert was shown on MBC in Korea and through Google worldwide.

In Korea, people are singing their own praises, saying, "A concert headed by a broadcasting company from our nation and hooked up to a global portal like Google to be broadcast across the world is a first. And this is further proof of K-Pop's position in the world is rising."

"The phrases 'Broadcast to the world' and 'At Google headquarters' are being thrown around trying to make them look important. If something is broadcast on Google's channel, the chance existing of people seeing and hearing it is natural. They're acting incredibly proud of this simple thing. MBC holding their concert at Google's headquarters is just a matter of getting enough money behind them to rent out the place," said one K-Pop magazine reporter.

The usual "Number one in Asia!" and "K-Pop boom in France!" falsehoods have been used to broaden their worldwide activities, and there is a reason for that.

"Recently, a big topic on the net and other places has been the fact that K-Pop is showing symptoms of shrinking popularity in Japan. Reports coming from Korea have shown that in 2012, ticket sales to K-Pop events have fallen sharply and it seems that some companies have actually gone into the red. Certainly artists like Shojojidai or KARA and other top idols haven't shown these signs yet, but the groups that suddenly sprung up one after the other in Japan have encountered a harsh environment. This accompanies the failure that Korean idols like Brown Eyed Girls and 4minute have experienced when trying to enter the Japanese market. In short, the gloating that surrounds K-Pop is without merit as its popularity disappears," said the industry insider.

The bigger the lies get, the more obvious the cracks in the facade become. It is possible to say that the recent concert at Google is just part of the signs of desperation shown by K-Pop as its demise nears closer and closer.

Infinite’s reliable leader, Kim Sunggyu

‘Music that you wish would be played somewhere’

We will be viewing the music recommendations from Kim Sunggyu, the leader and main vocal of Infinite, who are currently rising as ‘group choreography-dols’.

‘Music That You Wish Would Be Played Somewhere’

In the idol group market, where everything is neck-to-neck, Infinite rose up immediately as the ‘trend’. They are a 7 membered group who shows the positive points of ‘group choreography’ with their slender bodies. Since there are a lot of members, it seems like it would be easy to forget them, but they are at the top with female fans in their 10’s and are also capturing the hearts of women in their 20~30’s. This group’s leader and main vocal, Kim Sunggyu (23), picked the two words of ‘diversity’ and ‘teamwork’ as the secret behind the team’s popularity.

“We don’t stick to one type of music color. We work hard to always use different genre’s colors in singles or mini albums. Since all 7 of us have our own distinct color, that point allows us to not be boring. When we sing, each of our parts aren’t set in stone, so we don’t hold back on different vocals trying out singing with a different feel.”

The phrase ‘group choreography-dols’ has been attached to them. The prefix of Shin (), which was used a lot among early idol groups such as Shinhwa, is a word that is used often when explaining the idol group’s ‘teamwork’. He, who said their teamwork was created through being group choreography-dols, said, “We practice dancing a lot with each other, so we’re the happiest when we hear things like that.”
