As expected, Leessang has completely taken over the digital charts with their eighth comeback album, ‘Unplugged‘!

According to results revealed by iChart for May 28th, Leessang’s “Someday” topped the weekly charts for Melon, Mnet, Olleh Music, and Bugs, while “My Love” is at the top of real time charts.

A majority of the tracks off of their album have managed to take over the top 10 rankings on most digital charts, demonstrating the duo’s dominance in the digital music market.

There seems to be no competition in sight for the duo, as it’s actually their own songs that are contending for the top spot. The album charts for May are nothing short of complete dominance by Leessang.

Their decision to change up their musical style with each new album release has been well received by the public, especially since they had already stacked up public recognition with frequent exposure through variety shows.

‘Unplugged’ itself took three long years to produce, with instruments being imported in to create the album’s distinctive vintage sound.

something different from the usually Kpop I listen to but nonetheless very nice.

I loved Someday. Yoon Do Hyun is awesome. LeeSsang is awesome. I discovered a lot of Korean bands/artists beyond K-pop that I totally adored because of their collaboration with LeeSsang.

I listened to their album, it's something else, on a completely different level to the other hacks in Kpop with their recycled beats and repetition.

Wow that is one amazing song. The lyrics are beautiful and the way the song is put together is so well done. And I just listened to Someday too and it is fabulous too. Great to see some excellent music getting recognised for what it is, so glad they're doing well in the charts!!

as a whole I still rate Asura Balbalta a bit higher on my preference list but this album is still brilliant nonetheless. quality music is quality and I'm glad they're still going strong after all these years.

Didn't disappoint at all!

I've loved every single one of their album and I guess this is my favorite track from this album.

Made me choke up and cry listening to this song.

Man.

This is how hip-hop is suppose to be like. Not like whatever snazzzle's going on in the West.

lol there is good and bad hip-hop in the west too... you must not listen to a lot of it.

My my one should not make sudden assumptions of another when one doesn't know another that well.

But what you say is true. There are good and bad hip hop. I guess I should clarify it more for you in relation to my statement.

When I said "whatever snazzle's going on in the West" what I meant are the tracks that often reach top charts.

Though of course you're more than welcome to recommend good hip-hop. I'm willing to give them a try.

:)
