Shinhwa To Do Another Nude Photoshoot?

In 2000, Shinhwa became the first idol group to release a nude photo album and the boys were asked if they would do it again.

Shinhwa recently filmed an episode of their JTBC variety program ‘Shinhwa Broadcast‘, where they set out to find out which of the members had the most eloquent speech.

During the ‘Speech Channel – Speaking God‘ corner, the members were required to discuss certain topics without letting their heart rates exceed 120. When debating whether or not to release another set of nude pictorials, members Junjin, Kim Dongwan and Shin Hyesung had to argue for another nude photo album, while Eric, Andy, and Lee Minwoo had to speak against it.

Happy Face Entertainment introduces new Dal★Shabet member Woohee

6-member girl group Dal★Shabet has unveiled the face of their newest member, Woohee.

Dal★Shabet’s agency Happy Face Entertainment remarked on May 25th, “New member Woohee will be filling the shoes of member Viki who is unfortunately leaving the group to pursue her solo activities. Woohee has been a Happy Face Entertainment trainee, and she has been hand selected as her image pairs well with the group.”

“Woohee was born in 1991, and is the same age as members Ahyoung and Jiyul,” they continued. “She is currently a Broadcast Entertainment major at Dongah Institute of Media and Art, and she has been dreaming of being a singer, spending many years as a trainee. She is a talented new member, possessing outstanding singing and dancing abilities.”

In the revealed photos, Woohee displayed a pure and innocent image wearing a white one-piece dress and her hair in long waves. By turning her head slightly to the side, Woohee also gave off a mysterious vibe.

Woohee remarked, “I’m so excited to be joining Dal★Shabet, a girl group that I have always really liked, but I am also worried because I am not sure if I will be able to effectively fill the shoes of Viki unni. Thank you to Serri unni and the other members who are always so good to me, making me feel so comfortable. I will work harder as I am a member that joined after the official debut, and I hope that everyone will look forward to my addition.”

In related news, Dal★Shabet will be releasing their first formal album on June 7th, and will be holding a showcase two days before the album drops.

2NE1‘s CL has dropped a surprise hint about their comeback!

On May 24th, CL shared a new group photo of the girls with their stylist along with a short message of, “WHAT“, leading fans to speculate it to be the title of their new lead track. Stylist Yang Seung Ho is holding up a banner with inter-crossed V’s to form a W. Previously, member Dara had aroused the curiosity of fans regarding their upcoming comeback, so CL’s follow up message has definitely gotten heads turning.

Netizens commented, “Looks like 2NE1 will be making a comeback soon”, “Is their title track ‘WHAT’?”, “What does the ‘W’ mean?”, and “Looking forward to it!”

SM Entertainment’s ‘To the Beautiful You’ drama to begin airing in August

Last month, SHINee‘s Minho and f(x)‘s Sulli were confirmed as the lead roles for SM Entertainment‘s Korean adaptation drama of the popular Japanese comic, ‘Hana Kimi‘.

Titled ‘To the Beautiful You‘, the drama has dropped additional details today revealing that it’s been confirmed to begin running in August in the Wednesday/Thursday time slot under SBS.

The drama will be directed by PD Jun Ki Sang of ‘Boys Over Flowers‘ and ‘My Girl‘ and written by Lee Young Chul of the ‘High Kick‘ sitcom series. The plot will follow the story line of ‘Hana Kimi’.

Kangta admits he once thought of Baek Ji Young as more than a friend

On the May 22nd broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Win Win‘, Kangta confessed that he once considered Baek Ji Young as more than just a friend, shocking audience members and even Baek Ji Young herself.

Kangta, who is known to be good friends with the singer, stated, “There was one time I thought of Baek Ji Young as a woman. When I was in the army, noona wrote a letter to me on very pretty stationery. She had a femininity to her that I had never seen before. The letter didn’t have any meaningful content as we were not dating, but just considering the fact that she didn’t forget about me, and sent me a letter made me see her more feminine side.”

Upon hearing Kangta’s story, Leessang‘s Gil, who was another surprise guest on the episode, added, “I once felt her maternal side too. Before I went on stage, noona straightened out my outfit for me. At that moment, I felt her mother-like love.”

B1A4 promote cheating in new single, shock fans

B1A4 released the special edition of their first album ‘IGNITION‘ at midnight on May 23, and there are now reports that the title track “Baby Good Night” has surprised a lot of fans with its twist.

Singer Sung Si Kyung leaves his listeners with the message “sleep well” on his radio show ‘A Blue Night and Sung Si Kyung‘, and it seems fans were expecting the same sort of romantic sentiment from B1A4. However, many fans were left surprised upon realizing that the song is about an unfaithful boyfriend who goes out to meet other girls after his girlfriend goes to sleep.

The B1A4 boys originally showed a sweet, caring side to themselves in the video teasers for their repackaged ‘IGNITION’ album, which featured each member in a fictional video call with their “girlfriend”, as well. The members played the part of a loving boyfriend stating things like, “It’s late, and you’re still not asleep? Where should we meet tomorrow? Okay, I’ll be in front of your house.”

Fans quickly realized that the sweet, romantic boyfriend image was a hoax upon its release. They commented, “B1A4 outwitted us,” and “If it’s a song this teasingly sweet, I might be able to forgive them even if they cheated.”

On another note, B1A4 will be making their comeback with “Baby Good Night” on May 25th’s ‘Music Bank‘, and the album will be available offline on May 29.

Lee Hyori bares her midriff for ‘Nutra Life’ photoshoot

Singer Lee Hyori recently completed a photoshoot for health brand Nutra Life, and additional photos of the singer revealing her abs have been revealed.

The sexy queen has received some flak as her mid-section appeared to be bigger when sitting hunched over on an episode of ‘You and I‘, but it looks like these photos will put those criticisms to rest.

Different from her usual confident self, Hyori looked a bit bashful as she slightly exposed her stomach. At the age of 33, Hyori proved that she still had the same S-line figure; boasting tight abs and long, shapely legs.

In related news, Nutra Life will begin launching a variety of different organic products such as vitamin supplements starting this June.

Arrest warrant for Ko is rejected

After spending most of Wednesday being interrogated, an arrest warrant for entertainer Ko Young-wook was rejected.

“We have insufficient evidence on the matter to issue an arrest warrant,” the Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office said.

Ko was allowed to go home while police continue to investigate the sexual assault charges brought against him by three minors.

[..] We have prepared the column “star story” in our publishing which not only tells a truthful side to stars, but their past that brought them to where they are today. This episode’s protagonist is B.A.P’s Jongup, who is one members of the heartwarming magnae line.

Jongup greeted the reporter with a smile full of mischief following after Youngjae. With his baby face, the reporter was able to get the vibe of his average, yet cute younger brother image when he asked the question, “What kind of things do I have to talk about?”

“Hello, I’m Jongup., I was born in Siheung of of Kyungkido on February 6th, 1995 and I was born very healthily. When I was younger, I was fairly chubby (laughs). Out of the three sons, I am the youngest and I was a mischievous kid who liked to play with his hyungs. An anecdote of when I was younger? Hrm..my mother told me but when I was two years old, we went to America (where my relatives lived) for vacation and said I got lost. Thankfully, I stayed in the same place and they were able to find me. Although I don’t remember it, just thinking about it now is horrifying to know that I could have been a missing child in a foreign country haha.”

M.I.B to make a comeback with their album ‘Illusion’

Hip hop group M.I.B (Most Incredible Busters) will be making a comeback with their mini-album ‘Illusion‘ on June 1 KST.

‘Illusion’ is reported to be filled with the “electro-hop” sound characteristic of M.I.B, and the title track “So It’s Only Hard For Me” has a unique melody and dramatic rap that complements the group’s music flavor.

The new mini-album holds a total of seven tracks in all, including their previously released single “Celebrate” and its accompanying remixes. M.I.B had to cancel activities this past April due to a tragedy.
