you are not overly sensitive, it made me tear up too...
because he's so tall, handsome and talented, i think that most people end up forgetting that he's just a 15 yo kid... i look at zelo and all i can see is my cousin that is his age and also very tall and talented at voleyball. people are always expecting so much from him, thinking he can handle everything on his own just because he's big and seems mature, but inside he's still just a little kid...

The tall ones usually look so awkward when dancing but not Zelo! What a talented kid. I just want to give him a hug...and play toy guns with him around the neighbourhood. I know the maknaes usually get bullied but the others seem to take really good care of him and each other. It warms my cold, cold heart especially since some of them didn't join the group that long before debut.

your comment reminds me of their interview for show champion (forgot which week). shinyoung asked zelo about his remark on how he wished he'd stop growing and bbzelo didn't know how to answer it, he was kind of panicking and himchan came to his rescue. that made me go awwww ngl

That reminds me of Himchan and Yongguk both saying something along the lines of having joined TS because the atmosphere is very family-alike. It fits, they really take good care of each other in that group.

I don't honestly know if they get bullied (it seems like they should, otoh half the time it seems like they get spoiled) but I wonder if the age spread in b.a.p is a part of it. I mean, I'm sure part of it is just the personalities involved, but when the 2 oldest are 22, picking on the 15-yo or tolerating the younger groupmates picking on a 15-yo would be kind of... pathetic, you know? ^^;

the large age difference definitely factor into it. I agree with you, it would be kind of pathetic if the oldest (Yongguk and Himchan) picked on Zelo, but in B.A.P's case I see even Youngjae, Daehyun and Jongup babies Zelo (like in the Power making take#2 clip and the B.A.P diary clip) and they're not much older than him. idk it's probably my biased mind thinking but I adore their group dynamics. this probably will change after awhile though, maknaes have the tendency to turn evil over time haha.

Well, I also meant that BYG/Himchan set policy for the others, so they'd probably follow the hyungs' example even if they had other inclinations (and as they stay together longer, it would just be natural)... but as far as these particular individuals go, Jongup is,like, Jongup, and I feel like DaeJae probably just pick on each other, so to speak. XD

It just occurred to me, but it's kind of interesting to imagine what the group dynamics would be like with just the younger 4 without the much-older members... I think it might have to be one of those leader-less groups, since Daehyun is the oldest but has the least seniority while Zelo is the youngest but is most senior (or at least has been a trainee longer than anyone else... has he always been with TSEnt?) Even with DH speaking more in interviews, I (currently) doubt he's the leaderly type anyway, and otherwise it would be Youngjae (but he's not like jokwon who is leader because he's been a trainee for just that long, so I think it would be unlikely....)

I actually don't know how long Zelo's training days with TSE, all I know he enrolled into this music academy for dance and rap training since he was 9 y.o.

Without Yongguk and Himchan I think Youngjae would be the leader, he has the right qualities for it and it showed in that Ta-dah episode where they shot the Secret Love MV. The training period vs age seniority would be interesting to imagine if Zelo and Jongup had been trainees before Youngjae and Daehyun, it'd probably be a leaderless group like you said, or if there has to be a leader TSE has to appoint one for them for it to work. That said, I don't know if TSE applies training period seniority all that much though, especially since everyone basically said the atmosphere was pretty much family-like.

Ah... it occurs to me that TSEnt is so tiny (their roster is only Secret, b.a.p, Untouchable, and 2 actors, according to wiki!) that the seniority issue may simply not have come up often enough for a company policy on it to gel. But YJ is the most obvious pick, unless DH would behave much differently if he were actually the eldest (possible).
