Tablo's trial with the group "Tajinyo" ended in ten minutes due to a lack a documentary evidence. On the 16th of March, Tablo's defamation case against the online group continued after they stood trial at Seoul's Central District Court.

The court ended the trial as the documents requested from overseas has not arrived yet. Both sides were then given two months to prepare before the trial ensues on May 18th. Previously, "Tajinyo" also known as "I Request the Truth From Tablo," asked Stanford University for formal evidence that Tablo was enrolled in the University along with proof of his diploma.

The court previously requested for the documents last year but the law courts in the U.S. revealed that the process could take at least six months. Both sides were supposed to meet in December of last year, but due to the delay in the documents, it was moved to March 16th.

Tablo's representatives along with the members of "Tajinyo" will once again meet in two months time at Seoul's District Courts.

The Japanese Consulate General in New York protested to the New York Times on Thursday over a full-page ad for a private South Korean organization that used Korean names for Takeshima island and the Sea of Japan.

In the ad, which looked like a tourism promotion, the Korean names "Dokdo" and "Donghae [East Sea]" were used for Takeshima and the Sea of Japan, respectively.

The ad was carried in the US newspaper's March 1 issue.

In the ad, the word "Hawaii" was connected to the US national flag by a line. In the same way, Sicily was connected to the Italian national flag and Bali was connected to the Indonesian national flag.
However, Dokdo and the South Korean flag were not connected )

If you are thirty-plus and a woman with a master's degree in South Korea, you may need the help of a matchmaker to find love - and your worried mother may even end up doing the legwork for you.

As women in the Asian country have become better educated, with five times as many now getting advanced degrees as in 1995, they have also become more choosy and are less likely to settle for the role of meek spouse traditionally expected of South Korean women.

"I heard if you are a female with master's degree, it is much harder to arrange a meeting than if you have a bachelors degree because of an unfavorable perception toward 'too smart women' here," said Lee, 24, a college senior in Seoul who wished to be known only by her last name.

The age at which South Korean women are getting hitched has risen by an average 4.1 years over the past 20 years to 28.9 years, according to Statistics Korea, and that has encouraged plenty of worried mothers to get things rolling for their daughters.

The JYJ fandom expressed its condolences for the passing of member Yoochun’s father. On the sixteenth, Park Yoochun and Park Yoohwan’s father’s funeral took place, and fans showed their respect by agreeing to not show up at the funeral.
The fandom posted on fansites with notices saying, “Let us not go as far as showing up at the funeral. Let us not make it even more difficult for Yoochun.” As agreed, no fans appeared on the sixteenth, but instead, the fandom sent flowers in their name. At the funeral procession, Yoohwan carried the ancestral tablet, and Yoochun carried the portrait of the deceased. Until the third day after his passing when Park’s father was cremated, the JYJ members stayed by Yoochun’s side. Jaejoong was unfortunately unable to take part on the last day due to dehydration. Labelmate Song Ji Hyo shared the pain and wept for the loss.

The body will be cremated, and the remains will be kept at Yongin Park.
May he respect in peace.

Take note Sasaeng.

The boys of Shinhwa are back, and they are sillier than ever!

The first episode of Shinhwa’s new show, JTBC‘s “Shinhwa Broadcast,” aired on March 17th. During the show, the boys transformed into superheroes. In order to determine who would get to be which superhero, they played a game. Then, after their transformation, they were given the mission to rescue the President’s daughter.

As the winner of the game, Andy got the first choice. He wore a black suit to become the ever-so-suave James Bond. Kim Dong Wan chose Superman, while Eric was the Six Million Dollar Man.

However, the rest of the members, who didn’t do too well in the game, were not so lucky with their superhero choices. They faced nothing but humiliation in their bizarre outfits. Lee Min Woo appeared as one of the Wonder Girls, whereas Shin Hye Sung became Tarzan. Poor Jun Jin was forced to become the Invisible Man, which he pulled off by wearing nothing but shorts along with a transparent plastic sheet.

While Andy as James Bond and Eric as the Six Million Dollar Man entered the camera shot confidently, the rest of the members could not hide their shyness and embarrassment. Jun Jin especially did not like his character, and he pouted, “I don’t even have a weapon!“

Meanwhile, Shinhwa will be continuing to air their show “Shinhwa Broadcast” weekly as a random variety program. There will be a wide range of genres and formats for the show.

The profits earned by SM artists like Girls' Generation, Super Junior, and TVXQ have been revealed. According to Financial Supervisory Service Data Analysis, Retrieval and Transfer System, SM Entertainment's March 6th prospectus listed their top five earning artists and further showed their sales relative to each other.

As expected, Girls' Generation made the highest contribution to SM Entertainment's sales figures. Super Junior came in second, with TVXQ, SHINee, and f(x) making up the rest of the top five.

Girls' Generation brought in a total of 21,737,000,000 won (approximately 19.3 million USD) by the third quarter of 2011 alone, with 7,995,000,000 won (7.1 million USD) due to album sales.

Super Junior on the other hand brought in a total of 13,831,000,000 won (12.3 million USD), with 6,560,000,000 won (5.8 million USD) attributed to album sales.

Following them were TVXQ with 11,723,000,000 won (10.4 million USD), SHINee with 5,495,000,000 won (4.9 million USD), and f(x) with 3,577,000,000 won (3.2 million USD).

While the above includes earnings from individual activities, SM Town and other performances and projects are excluded. This essentially means that their actual earnings are a lot higher than presented in the prospectus.

After making an impressive comeback with “When I Can’t Sing,” Se7en recently received a franchise license for his popular steamed chicken chain “Yeolbong Jjimdak.”

There are no precedents of an idol in his twenties entering the franchise business. Se7en’s endeavors are particularly noteworthy because he opened a brand new business on his own without collaborating with an already existent business.

With an acquaintance, Se7en opened the first “Yeolbong Jjimdak” in the beginning of 2011 at Seoul Kangnam Station. Thereafter, he opened the second and third store at Seoul Sinsa-dong on a tree-lined road and by Seoul HongIk University, respectively. By word of mouth, the popularity of the restaurant increased, and there are now a total of seven stores all over Korea. The store on the tree-lined road by Sinsa-dong is said to bring in the greatest annual income of approximately $800K.

On March 17, Se7en attended the 27th Korean Franchise Expo at SETEC (Seoul Trade Exhibition and Convention), and took part in giving advice and suggestions to aspiring entrepreneurs.

Se7en also plans to expand his business into the international market to spread and spark interests in K-Food. For now, he plans to open a store in Japan by the end of the year. Se7en released his first single in Japan in a year and four months. He hopes to release another single by mid-April and hopes to spread knowledge and awareness of Korean culture through a combination of his music and food.

Se7en stated, “There has been interests in business from not only Japan, but also Thailand and Singapore. We hope to move forward step by step after thorough and strict examinations.”

Legendary idol group Shinhwa revealed the concept for their upcoming comeback album, which will finally break their 4-year hiatus. The 6 members unveiled their new transformation via the group’s official website.

The teaser photo displays the 6 men in blood-red outfits for a vampire concept. Their pale faces, swords, and closed eyes add to the eeriness of their vampire concept.. A notable accent to the look is the Celtic swords each member carry, all meriting brilliantly to the group’s neo-gothic inspired concept.

Shinhwa’s 10th studio album is said to be the product of the group’s teamwork and effort, as each member contributed in writing major portions of the album and even produced some of the tracks as well.

“Although there isn’t a lot of information about the album available to the public,” says a representative of the group’s agency, “The boys went through almost 500 demo tracks, working diligently to make sure that this album is perfect in sound, style and performance.”

The album’s title track “Venus” is notable as it is produced by Andrew Nelson, known for his work with famous pop star Britney Spears. Member Lee Min Woo is said to have pinned the lyrics for the track as well.

Meanwhile, Shinhwa’s comeback album will be available on March 23rd, followed up by a comeback concert entitled “The Return,” which will take place on the 24th and the 25th.

Suzy is rising fast in Chungmuro for her performance in the film Architecture 101 (Introduction to Architecture), and was the one to grab all the attention at the press preview held on March 13.

Although the four leads all appeared side by side in the film, Suzy managed to hog most of the spotlight. Officials had been skeptical about Suzy’s acting as they didn’t know much about idol girl groups, but Architecture 101 turned out to be a film of Suzy, by Suzy, for Suzy.

This makes my stan heart so happy! I want to see the movie and see her evolution with my own eyes, she probably won't be perfect but I want to see how much she grew as an actress.
